Ok, my buddy tinted out our boat moving truck in CA and just before we took it to Parker, his kid got a window tint ticket.
So now I'm taking the tint off, but need to get it inspected. Near Parker AZ.
Thank you.

Any police or chp office will take care of that.

I don't think you have to remove the tint. I think you can pay the full amount of ticket (instead of the 25 fee or whatever it is) and move on.

I have done this in Big River. Called SB county sheriff dispatch and they stopped by and signed off a couple hours later. They usually have sheriffs on CA side running around and they realize that there is no stations close by to drive to. Same may go for CHP if you can get a hold of thier dispacth

I don't know about cali but if you pay the fee in AZ and leave it in place you can get stopped again in future and get written another citation. Just easier to go legal in AZ which I believe is just up from limo.

I paid the fine and left it on. That was at least 10 years ago and I never got stopped since, so I don't know what would happen if I got stopped again.

I got a ticket for it and cup told me the way he wrote it up if I got one again it would be considered a moving violation and be a point on record. Don't know if he was just bullshitting or not? Took it off.

Thats how the ADOT officer described it in parker when i got pulled over years ago. It was a "warning" fix it ticket as in you could throw it in the trash there was no follow up. but now my plate was in the system and if i got pulled over for it again in AZ it was a $400 non-fixable ticket.

Here is a good one. I have had a lot of skin cancer, my dermatologist says he would give me a prescription for tinting all the way around, including the windshield. I didn't take him up on the windshield idea.
