Wife and I had a solo trip this weekend and found a new spot we have never been to even after going to Ocotillo for 20 years. Bronkzilla has really expanded or reach for trips. We had a small issue with the power steering ram in threading from its Heim. No problem with the speed case of tools. It had everything we needed to fix it

Bronkzilla goes through anything in two wheel drive. No problem in deep sand or anywhere so far. My son in law says it better then the hummers he uses on base when he had border duty

More pics coming! We did a lot of detail work this summer so she’s about 75% done. Spare tire carrier was on of the last major projects

Hurry up and post some pics! The suspense is killing me! 😁

it’s been about 10 years since we were last at Glamis. We had a great time and Bronkzilla had no problems hanging with the SxS and buggy’s in the dunes with no paddles

Bronkzilla was in for a couple minor improvements and I ordered there new front end. Since we started this project Ochooo has had 8 years to improve his front geometry. I have booked the shop in April/ May to do the upgrade but for now it’s time to finish her starting at the back and moving to the front

I am so proud of how this is turning out. This interior came out so awesome and the extra time installing the sound deadening material was worth it. On the street you don’t need the head sets now

This Bronco has been an absolute blast!! It goes everywhere smoothly. We did the Parker 400 prerun and afterwards I found a crack all the way around the transmission bell housing. We pulled the transmission out and are replacing the housing with a Reid Case. This is supposed to be bullet proof.

We discovered the dowel pins were missing from the train to the motor. The rebuilder said that’s the cause of the crack. A simple $10 part missing during assembly in now costing thousands. While it’s under the knife I am having some metal installed around the radiator and AC condenser to improve air flow so the AC is nice and cold this summer.

I am crossing my finger hoping we worked out all the bugs so we can get it painted or wrapped

Got all the repairs needed complete. When they mounted the transmission to the eco-boost motor, they notched the transmission case where the crack started, and dowel pins were not installed also. We modified the transmission adapter to accept the starter motor without having to notch the case and got around to putting some aluminum around the radiator and air-conditioning condenser so the AC works better. Everything on this is bulletproof, except for the front axles that are sitting waiting to be installed at Richer Racing later this year
