Looks great for a barn find HW!

I think its put 10-15 K in have a 25-35K ride deal.

Still, never really met a Vette I didnt like.

To cut down on project time, move to Perris , or Lake Elsinore. Then all you would need to do is throw some air in the front tire,
and you're good to roll.

What year? Looks like a factory transistor ignition L-82 under the hood! T-tops too, cool! Is it a 4-speed?

Thanks All!

This is a one owner (if you dont count the DEAD husband), all original 1973 T-top vette! It has the HiPo 350 (L82) and the 4 gear. Kinda rough - Higher mileage than I would like, but it is 45yrs old (only 37 according to FRY)! She gave me all the receipts and it shows quite a bit of service - but one to clean up, and keep the way it is...

73, only year they had a 5mph front bumper, and a chrome rear.

68-72 had chrome front
74-82 had 5mph rears

dad had a 76, he sold it the day i got my license:swear

Nice find. I might not be super smart but by my math its more like 37 years old but math is kinda tricky for me, lol. Good luck with the build.

Start down low with a 350 cube, three and a quarter horsepower, 4-speed, 4:10 gears, ten coats of competition orange, hand-rubbed lacquer with a huplane manifold,
Full fuckin' race cams. Whoo!

1972 was the last collectable Vette with chrome front and rear bumpers .
I'd upgrade that turd to make it a hotrod myself and enjoy it for what it is.
Those Taiwanese made turbine wheels were the rage back then !

That looks like a lot of fun waiting to happen.
I don't think I'd sweat the concours deal either, build it the way YOU want it and drive & enjoy the thing. With the '73 you beat the smog man, so enjoy.

So I take it the seller wasn't too offended by your original offer...

It will look good next to your '63 (once it's cleaned up) but what are you gonna do with your pool table? Nice problem to have

Congrats, that's gonna be fun.

We had a lot of fun in my buddy's 66 Vette/427 cu back in the ol' days. I'd hotrod your car with a ZZ572 engine [ weight vise would be close to the old iron 427 ] ,just saying;) You'd need fatter tires than what we had on the 66 :D
