I love motorcycles but that guy has a death wish! At 189 on a crowded highway is crazy. Driver makes a quick lane change and you’re done, not to mention hitting debris on the road.
I've ridden motorcycles since I was 11. Professionally, so to speak, for a few years. But fuck that guy. Couldn't care less if he slams into a wall. It's the innocent family, your wife, daughter, mother, kid making a lane change and take a motorcycle to the rear at 185 mph. Can't tell you how much these videos piss me off. Just a selfish piece of shit. 415 FPS at 189mph. Over a football field distance in a second. NO ONE is gonna see him coming as they change lanes. Again, kill himself, who cares. Hope my family isn't on the road when he's riding like this.

Fuck...

I remember doing that shit on the 210 shortly after it opened.

Early Sunday mornings...

Honda Nighthawk. We would be rolling around 100 just using the cars for cones.

At almost 200mph, I can't even imagine! 😱

How the the hell I lived this long, I'll never know. Young and dumb for sure.

Does he wear a helmet . . Or just goes with the hat that came with the Clown Suit?

Agree with Tank. At those speeds, the safe driver may not be able to respond to his approach.

Like none of you fucking geezers did shit that crazy when we were young....

GET OFF MY GRASS!!! 🤪

Indeed you all feel the same way, not on my street, with MY family out there....once upon a time that was you....well maybe it was only me. ?

I'm not a champion against the law anymore, and I agree he was not only risking his life, but everyone else on the road with him.

I guess you have to get old to gain some sense. Glad I was always slower than my angel, she must be running a blown big block with a PSI on it! 🙃😁

Yes, I'm a hypocrite...did stupid things a time or two...or a bunch. Speeds in excess, and poor brakes and steering, every weekend before I was 24. Usually not on busy freeways though.

Not because I was worried about others, because I wanted to get drunk or get laid. Being dead really would have hindered both. Selfish I guess, but never killed anyone racing either.

I was waiting for the splat
Death wish. Saw too many friends not survive the street. The first one was horrible, quite enough for me to stop riding on the street. Bye bye Might Honda 305. $20 of boxes and a frame. 1973. +$ Escondido Cycle savage, +$ Honda Escondido.
11 year old bike, couldn't have built it after they remodeled the Honda shop. That was close.

Stolen recovered Kawasaki 100 for the GF/Wifey, $19 impound fee to PD. Plus non runner but complete, 100 Kaw enduro $20, Cycle Salvage. Slow Rides!!

Yep. Did stupid shit. Of course. We all have. Did 197 on the 101 in a Diablo (at 3 am). Closest thing I’ve done to this video. But with age comes wisdom (usually) and what we all did back then isn’t an excuse for making shitty decisions and putting others in danger. I’ve personally seen the damage a motorcycle can do slamming into a car at high speed; it kills occupants. But the big thing here, the whole “let’s film it and get likes and look cool on YouTube or Instagram”. That’s next level stupid. Guys an absolute Fuckin tool bag.

And don’t get me wrong, even being a geezer 😁 I still like a little fuckery now and again, it’s the putting others in danger I don’t like. I just hope when his innards are turned to mush it’s in a solo incident, I’ll give zero fucks then.

It does seem that ive gone off on a poo poo thread tangent. Sorry. 😁

And to a lot of your points, I don’t and won’t own one of these things anymore because I personally do not have the discipline to not ride like that. These things are getting so fast, they hit 189 without even breathing hard. So might as well let her eat, that what I paid for…

My favorite part of the video was the excitement under the helmet. “WHOOOO HOOOO!!!”. That shit cracked me up because I know that feeling of holding 190 for an extended period of time. It feels so good, that the other thoughts of dying and wiping out a Family in mini van, don’t even begin to creep in.

I don’t think anybody’s wrong here, but you have to realize that when a guy like me throws a leg over a bike, I just can’t help it. That’s the reason I bough it, and you can bet I’m gonna ring that things fuckin’ neck! I relate it a lot to being a Teenager and having only one thing on the brain, Poon.

I’ve said this for years, but I don’t understand why liter bikes and faster are available to the general public, to ride on the street. Unless you have race experience and have a really firm grasp on closing speeds, then I’m not sure if you belong on a liter, on the street. But, at the end of the day, this is America. You do you.

For sure. I took my buddies 1198 for a spin a while back. Head out a stretch of road near my house that is basically wide open. Think I saw 90 in second gear! Lol. And it got there blistering fast. I was like, holy shit, this thing shouldn’t even be legal. But thank god it is! ‘Merica!

I can hear the Jeopardy theme song as he weaves between cars and shitty road surfaces.
Inappropriate time & place to do what he did is all I'll say.
.
Anyone notice the "dealer" keytag flapping around? Wonder if that dealer knew what was going on?

I’ve kept dealer tags on my bike keys before. Especially when you have multiple bikes. Makes identifying each key much easier.

The "whooo hooo"...
That's the hook. Some people get a rush from food, alcohol, money, women, music or drugs...going fast, speed, is the one that got me. 513 BBF on nitrous. Not the fastest, but the quickest I had. Just like a junkie, feeding the habit. Never got into hard drugs, but I hear it's the same. A little feels good, so you try a bit more. You become accustomed to that, so you have to do more to stay on top.

There is a part of me that envies that guy. Just the same as the alcoholic envies the laughter coming from the bar. You know you want it, but you also know how it may end. It's not fear that stops one from continuing, it's responsibility, either to yourself or someone you care about.

That’s what’s changed for me. Gotta Wife and 2 kids now.

But it’s still very tempting. I moved to FL a couple years ago and these highways are just beggin’ for a 200mph pull. I cruise Craigslist every once in awhile, see if there’s anything out there I could turn into a GPS verified 200mph machine. The problem is, I’ll be going 200mph, ALOT. On the street, like you said, I know how it’ll end. Can’t do that to my Family.

If my Wife gets tired of me one day, and my kids are 18 or older, I’m getting another bike. Believe that. Probably be my first purchase. Probably buy a bike before my first Hooker. Then you guys can Motherfuck me to death when I post up 200mph footage, blasting by cars, on FL highways. 😁

I told my wife a long time ago, when we lived in Cali still, if I was diagnosed terminal, not to worry about me disappearing. There were a couple turns I knew with long straightaways leading in, and 500-1000ft drops.

The thing that was appealing to me about bikes wasn't the top speed, it was how effortless it was to slow down into a turn, and accelerate so quickly out of it. Extremely cost effective compared to a sports car of the same ability.
