So earlier in the year, my hydraulic system was working just fine. Over the course of six months the cylinders seized up. I rebuilt the cylinders they work fine they go in and out. The seals are good. The hydraulic pump is now just when I hit the button. It just runs. It doesn’t do anything anymore. I did take it apart. I don’t know if there’s an issue with the check balls or something like that. This has one large. Medium and small and then two medium springs and one large spring. And then there’s two pieces at the springs mount onto. I can send photos when I get home but my main problem is I don’t know how it goes together. I’m trying to get this thing up and running, but there’s no articles or nothing so I figured out asking her to see if anyone has ever came across anything like this and could lend to hand

Did you bleed the pump after reinstalling cylinders? If not definitely have air in the system.

You likely have reinstalled the springs and check valve bodies in the wrong position. Also, those check valve bodies are set at the factory for proper psi. When you removed them, you disrupted the calibration. There are two ways to fix this. One way is to recalibrate the max psi on all three check valves with a psi gauge capable of 4000psi. It is time consuming and slightly complicated. The other way is to purchase new check valves and a rebuild kit directly from mercury. You could also have problems with the shuttle valve sticking and or the poppet valves. The valve body on trim pumps is somewhat of a complicated little bugger. Wow. just looked up the part numbers and the prices for these parts have gone way up. #812498a1 up psi valve=$104. #812499a1 down psi valve=$114.00. #95353a1 thermal relief valve=$67.00. Repair/seal kit #18545a1= $170.00. Better off to buy a new pump from Arco.
