I will never forget the arrival of “New Jersey” Red Beach,DaNang 1968. We knew she was coming,when that boat came out of mothballs and showed up anchored offshore firing those 16” guns all night was incredible. Pretty sure 16”correct. No Doubt those holes in Vietnam landscape still being filled in.
Wondering if possible your Granddaughter on a sister ship or even possible “New Jersey” still in service.
