As the title reads my betterhalf truly is amazing.
I’ll try to give the short version. We have a six grand kids total. Three we don’t get to see as much as we would like to & three that live with us. For the better part of the last 2 years we’ve had three of our grandkids and baby momma living with us due to some unforeseen circumstances. Our son currently is not in the position to take care of them even though he would like too, he’s just not financially able too. Baby momma who the wife and I had done our best to help and get her life on a path of independence have failed. Started out real well by getting a medical assistant degree from a trade school which I dove her back & forth from 4 days a week, we watched the kids for her to attend school as well we would watch the kids when she had part time jobs that I would take her to and from with hardly a thank you in return. She would always find a way to lose the job that was never her fault.
Let’s just say, if it wasn’t for the grandkids she would not have been in our home. Disrespectful, rude, expected everything for nothing I could go on & on. We kept telling ourselves it’s what’s best for the grand kids and she knew it and used it to her advantage. Not seeing a way out of this situation and no light at the end of a tunnel the wife and I just kept saying “it’s for the kids”. Well we finally seen the light at the end of that long, long tunnel. Found out she was pregnant from baby daddy #2 CONGRATULATIONS! the wife tells her and by the way your not having that baby here!
I’ll wrap this up. Baby momma has moved out, left the 3 grandkids with us which we told her to until they can get it figured out. Baby daddy #2 is total loser and they are both living in her van.
After having a very short discussion about it, the wife decided to file for guardianship of the 3 so we can have the rights to them for medical decisions and what ever else we need that I can’t think of off hand. So yes my wife is truly amazing. We’re not young people any more. So taking on the responsibility of raising a 3yr old, 4yr old, 7yr old and this manchild for who knows how long. So yes I find her to be amazing.

this was so mainly because her mom let her do what ever. She’s coming around and realizing Papa means business though. We can see the change.
