Simmer down, I think the right is winning battles right now.

This is no surprise, but it pisses me off also. Hopefully there is some clarity about the legality of preemptive pardons.

Fauci is looking over his shoulder every minute of the day and I'm sure this does not make that any less concerning for him.

Hopefully civil court and states launch an effort to bankrupt him. History should place him alongside some of the most evil people.

No not a surprise but to actually see it done is not the same as talking about its possibility.

All hands on board for international, state, county and local courts to go after the scum bags criminally and civilly.

F them

Apparently Ford gave Nixon a preemptive pardon for any crimes he MAY HAVE committed against these United States. I just found this out this morning and had to look into it. All sources say it. Nixon was never charged.

And yet we’ve succeeded in almost no corrections.
Epstein’s gone, but that’s really just because he turned into a liability to the club.
Being “right” doesn’t mean a lot of nothing is done about it.
There’s been some movement on some things on that list, but not a lot.

Article 2 section 2 clause 1

“The President shall be Commander in Chief of the Army and Navy of the United States, and of the Militia of the several States, when called into the actual Service of the United States; he may require the Opinion, in writing, of the principal Officer in each of the executive Departments, upon any Subject relating to the Duties of their respective Offices, and he shall have Power to grant Reprieves and Pardons for Offences against the United States, except in Cases of Impeachment.”

I'm hopeful that Johnson's interview over the weekend was designed to put into question the legality of his pardons and whether or not he actually had his full capacities when signing these documents. Most of us know he does not have his full capacities and hasn't for some time, but I'm hopeful they will perhaps use that and the WSJ article to undo some of these things. One can hope.

Those who accepted it IMO are guilty.
I hope Trump has other items he wants to accomplish vs living in the past and trying to right a wrong that occurred years ago.

Thanks. I've never read the Constitution before.

The question is not whether or not he has the power to grant pardons. The question is the legality and precedence of granting pardons when a person has not yet been charged with a crime.

We all know Biden couldn't spell "O" with a full box of Cheerios at this point in time. It would be nice to know who is actually coming up with a list of who needs pardons and exactly why.

Hard to watch the inauguration proceedings without wondering if the Democreeps just don’t blow it up. Each time Trump is seen exiting the limo is scary time. So much to review and uncover who was really running the White House. FJB.

This is why they ran rough shot over the old establishment R party. That and the fact that it was always a Uni-Party, until Trump woke up the people that couldn't be bothered with following politics.

If you do not prosecute these scumbags for what they've done, they will do it again.

There MUST be consequences for their actions.

The Trump administration can look forward and backwards at the same time.

A preemptive pardon does not preclude an investigation in any manner nor does it preclude a grand jury from indicting a pardoned individual.

If the incoming justice department believes these individuals should be investigated and wish to prioritize those matters, nothing precludes such investigation and/or indictments.

This matter is up to the incoming administration.

How great would it be if Trump had those marines take Fuck Face Biden into custody and “briskly” escort him off the property?
