Anybody ever thought they would ever be waiting and watching to see a President to start signing Exec Orders?

I want to watch them all like a sporting event. Announcing each one with color commentary about the order. Where is Bob Uecker and Chick Hearn when you need them

Lol

Again they haven't been charged with a crime how can he pardon them??? WTF the innocent January 6 people need to sue these mother fuckers along with the families that were murdered or injured by the shot!!!

You don’t need to be charged with a crime to receive a pardon. Gerald Ford pardoned Richard Nixon when he got into office.

After Ford left the White House in 1977, he privately justified his pardon of Nixon by carrying in his wallet a portion of the text of Burdick v. United States, a 1915 U.S. Supreme Court decision which states that a pardon carries an imputation of guilt and that acceptance carries a confession of guilt.

While I personally believe they are in fact all guilty.. I don’t necessarily think a pre-emptive pardon makes someone guilty any more than I think pleading the fifth amendment makes someone guilty..

My thought process is it would be used to protect from an incoming administration that wanted vengeance and ironically enough would use the legal system to persecute political opponents.

I don’t believe any of it would be even on the table if the Dems didn’t turn our government and media into a third world country for the last NINE years..

All this shit started about the time Trump started to have a chance at winning the first time.

RD

Here is a summary of the legal process and opinion.

Exactly, they are setting a precedent here that further leads to the breakdown of the Republic. Which is exactly what they want.

Trump will now rightly be able to do the same thing, and it will just go on in perpetuity from here on forward

Yep, preemptive pardons are absolutely allowed.
The real test is weather can can still be prosecuted. They may be absolved of serving time but might still have to wear the scarlet letter.

Those who accepted it IMO are guilty.
I hope Trump has other items he wants to accomplish vs living in the past and trying to right a wrong that occurred years ago.
It's important enough and he's smart enough and effective enough.........he can accomplish both. That level of murder and corruption needs to be HELD ACCOUNTABLE regardless of cost........
In my very important humble opinion of course.😅😅😅

Congress should subpoena Fauci to testify about his knowledge of the Covid 19 pandemic and his involvement in gain of function. He can't plead the 5th because of his pardon. If he lies to congress prosecute him. If he fails to appear prosecute him. That fucker needs a rope around his neck.

As many in here have pointed out and have suggested as a path forward, all of these pardoned individuals are still subject to state prosecution and as such, the 5th remains firmly in place.
