Used to see this all the time at Mcyntire in Blythe. Had to almost anchor in middle of cove if you wanted to ski somewhat early

When we were in Echo Lodge on the busy holidays you'd look across at Buckskin and all the weekend warrior tenters would have their v-bottoms listed to the side each morning.

Never failed, at least one group thought they could push a 25 footer on its side off the beach [emoji2]

When I got back from Michigan last month I had a bunch of Canadian dollars I needed to exchange, so I went tothe currency exchange window at the local bank.

Short line. Just one guy in front of me...An Asian guy who was trying to exchange yen for dollars and he was a little irritated!

He asked the teller, "Why it change??Yesterday, I get two huna dolla fo yen.Today I get huna eighty??Why it change?"

The teller shrugged her shoulders and said, "Fluctuations".

The Asian guy says,"Fluc you white people too!"

If I had a toon, I'd probably park it like that intentionally.. About the time I'd be getting up to go boating, would be about the time the water came back up.. In the meantime I wouldn't have to worry about it going anywhere.

Saw one group at Sandbar Resort with a fishing boat and a toon, and they were both high and dry every morning last week. Pretty sure that was their plan.

I had my boat at AVI a few months ago, and because of pictures like this...I was afraid and never even unloaded it!!

I knew I could, but then the security guard at avi was making comments to me like "wth are you gonna do with a boat that big here?". I was like huh...I thought this kinda boat was the norm here!

Scared me. I went home.

Every time I go up to pirates cove I end up helping people push their boats off the beach cause of the fluctuations. I got stuck on that beach once. I learned my lesson. [emoji3]
