I can’t believe the problem I’m having with moths.
In Downey I’m inundated with those little grain moths and in Havasu I’ve got the little type the eat your clothes.
Anyone else having this same problem or are my houses just sitting on top of hell mouths that are about to open up and release a bunch of demons on society?
Flys are pretty bad in Havasu this year too.

Nothing with either that I've noticed in Havasu(South). Get an occasional moth around the coach lights.

The entire Colorado river is inundated with the small months all year, I thought the same was happening in Havasu. They even lowered the water on the river a few times to help kill them (they live and breed near the water and die quickly but reproduce even quicker), they were getting under control until the recent monsoons and bam they are back with a vengeance. It seems like every year or to there is some kind of moth or insect that is out of control by the river communities.

Had a problem with moths last year in our Havasu house. Ended up bug bombing it a couple times and started spraying every time we go out there. They went away after that.
A month or two ago I found a few flying around in the garage so I bug bombed it real good just incase.
I think the larvae craw under the garage door and little cracks in the door weather stripping.

yep, we are going to be leaving for a few weeks and I think a couple of gassers is a good idea. Yes

It's funny because here in Riverside I don't see any mosquito larvae in the horse water troughs. They are always an issue/problem, but not this year.

Hey, not complaining.

On the moths, you gotta take them out whenever you see them, use Windex, the ammonia kills them (flies too). Eventually you end up taking enough of them out that it breaks their breeding cycle. And it's fun shooting them down...

Them little bastards hang out just outside the front door and know exactly when to fly inside.

Yep, every time I open a door several more fly in. It’s like an all out assault on our house. Never seen anything like this before.

They are pretty bad in central Havasu right now. I had my garage open at night with the lights on.. now my ceiling is littered with these god damn things.
