As a Gen1 Acura NSX fan I like it. LOL
I don't like it much either, but I guess that is what progress looks like.
After all these years that Gen1 Acura NSX still looks good on the road.As a Gen1 Acura NSX fan I like it. LOL
I agree. Too bad I sold mine in 2010 for $32k. Its worth about $52k now. DohAfter all these years that Gen1 Acura NSX still looks good on the road.
That's Timeless Engineering...
Am I the only one that thinks the mod engine is stupid and ruins the vette name
Zora-Arkus Duntov has wanted a mid-engine Vette since the late 50’s.
If you’re at all hip about the heritage of the car, then you’ve gotta be stoked that he’s finally getting his wish.
Ford did that in the Raptor and I don't care what exhaust they put on it, it sounds like ass.
Not to worry, it outperforms the 6.2 liter Raptor and they are still a very much in demand truck

I read not too long ago that Ford was going to offer a brand new 7.1 liter (I believe) v8 in the 2020 or 2021 model year.I own a 6.2, passed on the V6. Not interested, no matter what they have to say. They only had market share to lose, no upside to that decision.

I would definitely line up for one with either package. I see some really great looking Raptors with the Ecoboost but the sound...like finger nails down a chalkboard. What I "hear" is, the new 7.1 (427") all aluminum with a 2.9 whipple, 750HP. That actually makes some sense. They are advertising the current Raptor motor available in F-150 std.
I hope its not just one of those rumors. My 2013 has 180K on it and I'm just waiting. I've read other stuff as well, a N/A 7 liter 500 and some HP.
We'll hold out for the monster motor - but civilian interior edition. Just a notch down from the track version. A Zo6 kinda option.
We sold our immaculate, low mileage '09 Atomic Orange Z06 in anticipation of this. Money is in the bank waiting to be spent on the C8 Z06 or Equiv higher performance version.
If the new mid-engine model comes out, will it tank the re-sale value on the current models or maybe improve it for guys who don’t want the cost and complexity of the new model? Just curious, I know you know about these things.
Not necessarily - if they run the two cars concurrently, the existing front engined cars will hold their value or may increase due the cost of the new mid engine design. Will it handle much better? Probably marginally - the latest C7 Z is supposed to be an awesome track car.
You’re probably right. Never buy new, always get it 2-3 years later and let someone take the 40% hit on depreciation.Vette resale always tanks, it always has. Looks at used Narrow body c7s, c7 Z06s. c7 ZR1s will be $85K in 2 years.
Look what happened to the c6 ZR1 when the c7 Z06 came out. Those are $50K cars now that were $110K when new
listen to this on speakers.
Holy shit. LOL bad asslisten to this on speakers.
Yeah.... If that's not a flat plane crank they did come crazy shit to lighten that rotating assembly to get the engine to accelerate that quickly. I can't wait to see the engine specs. That's gonna be a bad bitch.
Hellllllllll yeaaaaaaaas. If the Z or GS versions look like that... Take my money.
Wonder if they have 1 at the OC auto show. See if I fit in 1. Going to go check out the So Cal work truck show that's connected to auto show.
They would not let me sit in it I tried. When I asked about people ordering them they told me go sit in a 2019 at a dealer and similar room inside. They can't even sit in them as buyers yet. Looks great in Person. I asked price and starts at 55k which seems like a steal compared to the price of other vehicles there. Said less than 80k for top of the line fully loaded unless dealer markup. Same price as a Tahoe. View attachment 804582
Really like the car, but you’d think at this point GM would figure out a rear wheel that didn’t make it look like a cheap kit car.Saw it at Barrett Jackson yesterday. Thought it was a Ferrari! It is pretty bitchen but like I said in my other thread a 6speed would be sweet albeit probably not as fast. Cant say I hated the blue interior.

Those tires are soft, expensive, and don’t last long at all. Might as well have them staggered with some rear offset instead of the ugly flat face. Not like rotating them is going to do much. Fronts aren’t so bad, but the rear could use a couple inches of lip. Oh, and the wheels themselves are hideous, but I guess I’m expecting too much. But the front wheel is ok?
I’m cornfused...

111,000.00 it better.BMW M5 runs 10’s bone stock. And it has 4 doors. Just saying............
No disrespect, but GTFO, BMW doesn’t make ANYTHING that compares to the new vette. The people I know with M4s are on the waiting list. If you want to talk twice the price, then yes, BMW comes into play, and I’m a former BMW owner who appreciates the brand.BMW M5 runs 10’s bone stock. And it has 4 doors. Just saying............
