well...... SHE RUNS!!! :champagne::champagne:
will float her saturday and see how she does. full pull will be a while so i can get the feel for her again.
lil drama at 545 this mornin. put the hatch on and as it went down it hit the new aircleaners:swear scoops can be raised if i destroy the hatch and start fresh or run a 1" filter:grumble: for the time being im runnin the old yucky arrestors and lookin over the options. off to slumber

unless you guys will be at every destination to clean all that chrome...:D
im going to pop by the upholstery shop n get a better idea on options and prices. ran with the old ones but, got a check from their new owner so they need to be shipped off:rolleyes: we just got a lil ahead of ourselfs on the aircleaners and hope to find a solution without fing the boat up.
she ran ok had some idle issues to work out and toying with a few other things. after about an hour of run time i got into it a lil bit and it shot right up to 107 ya shoulda seen brian (squirtn') need to do a photo shoot n post up the final pix.

well dave... im not sure at this point. with all the issues we found with the old engines we figured that power number to be MUCH less that the original 600. the speed and rps told me it was right there. now im a solid 180hp more per side so i guess time will tell.:headscratch:

I thought the AO had a center sponson?

dave its now at 780hp per side. and no there is no training wheel on the 31 ao's:rolleyes: they are a true cat.:thumbsup

780 a side? If that hull is worth a shit you'll be seeing High 120's Low 130's no problemo.> :D

i will get a good amout of photos of this thing during the week soon. now is a good time to thank all those involved..
charlie at octane marine for all the engine work and the beautiful custom engine mounts.
and the list of people who lent a hand or ear/ideas with me to get it this far.. paul,craig,brian,danny and so many others. big thank you for your ideas suggestions and time:thumbsup
it has been a great learning experience doing the gel/glass work and rigging:champagne:

hello everyone. i was on another site (sorry dave) and saw this link. well its been a long time coming to the end but it's only a few days worth of work away from a photo shoot. i did get her out and ran 125.3 @5100 rpm's with throttle left. i had wanted to do a full run but too much crap in the water held me back. pix and more info to follow in the coming weeks just in time for summer:boobeyes:
