We took a trip up to Montana and the scenery is just spectacular. I thought I’d share.

The ice fisherman were especially cool. And friendly , unlike ours they waved

We spent some time at Flathead 2 summers ago, amazing place!! I swear we saw more planes than we did boats while we were out on the lake! We have some cousins that live there right on the lake, on the east side pretty much directly across from wild horse island.

Were you flying multiple different planes? Looks like most of the footage you can see the prop, but then the footage of that one plane is a rear prop?

Were you flying multiple different planes? Looks like most of the footage you can see the prop, but then the footage of that one plane is a rear prop?

We flew up in the Cirrus. The Petrel /seaplane is in my hanger up here.

There has been lots and lots of weather systems rolling through. IMC almost every day, depending on the altitudes.
Travel early is your best bet. Try to avoid afternoon build ups.

Nice. Planning a Montana Rv vacation for next year. Looks amazing.

So is this a bison “hunting” ranch? Always wanted a full wooled buffalo and make a cape from it and have a freezer full of meat. Had a buffalo prime rib in Jackson Hole last year and it was amazing.

We got space if you need a stop in Polson. 50amps, but no sewer. The campgrounds are looking less crowded than normal this year, so you should have a fighting chance at reservations. Enjoy the trip.
