I called my mom a bitch ONCE when I was maybe 13, I will say, to this day not from any fights Iv been in my life, I‘ve never seen as many hands she threw at me that day. LMAO
Single mom raising 3 asshole boys. She should have used a paddle, we put her thru hell.
My oldest son was my payback. He stole our car did donuts at baseball field, ran from police and 2 wheeled on it’s side up an island and took out street signs, I should of used a stun gun.

In High School, we were shitfaced and my buddy decides to take his dads F250 for a ride.

He pulls up behind a grocery store on the corner of Chapman and Hewes in Orange. Behind the store is like giant rolling concrete whoops.

He had us get out and hold his beer…

He makes a few runs, gong faster and faster each time and getting more and more air.

Then he loses control, truck flies onto Hewes and he t-bones some sedan.

Cops arrive in milliseconds and we were outta there.

Buddy got hooked-up and spent the night in jail.

You’d think that would’ve been a wake-up call for the rest of us…you’d think wrong

My last school paddling (by the principle) was in 5th grade. About 1971 or so?

Yep same 75 or so. Principle still had hanging in the office till at least 77 when I moved to high school.

My dad let me pick the belt once. He always used a 2.5in belt and that fukr hurt, I decided a skinnier belt wouldn't hurt as much. Well I was wrong and I learned a lesson that day, even asked dad if he could get a wider belt

Learned at a young age not to get out of line. Dad did use the belt a couple of times, used his hand most of the time. He didn't need the belt, his hand would warm your ass up really good believe me. Made you think real hard like when you were about to do something questionable. For sure!

Mom and dad got a lot compliments though through the years, "Your boys are so well behaved, and good mannered, they can come over anytime". Behavioral adjustments are often over looked these days.

About the video, a little late at 14, should have started much earlier. Kind of a worthless lesson now.

Yeah, got more than a handful of beatings with a belt, hot wheel track, wooden spoon, hair brush, shoe, anything they could get their hands on in the moment. And deserved 99% of the whippins I got. My wife did not grow up that way, and we started off with the "wait until your father gets home" dealio....but after a year or so I squashed that shit. I wasn't there to witness the bad behavior, stop making me the judge, jury, and executioner. Had more than a few dust ups over it, but I didn't need my kids to worry what is dad going to do to me when he gets home......that's bullshit!
