Times two on those. God I sure wanted one back in the day.

Adding to the list, I think these V-10s from ‘05 to ‘10 will come around in a few years. Exorbitant maintenance costs keep prices depressed. BMW went mental when they dropped these in the M5 and M6s.

Nothing like hearing these sweet, linear N.A. MPower motors screaming to the 8,300 RPM redline. Reminiscent of those glorious F1 motors back in the day. I’m keeping this example, just because.

These are essentially an import of the Australian Holden if i remember correctly right?

They were badass sleepers back in the day, RWD with an LS1

This is the later version, the SS with an LS3, 3500 a year imported from Holden Australia 4 years and done. We looked at the GTO and the G8 but held off.

It was a good choice, and in silver it looks like a rental car.

The GTO's always looked like Toyota Camry styling

Coworker of mine has an SS like this, dark gray lowered on some badass wheels, and a manual trans. It is a fun car to ride in to lunch lol

The manual has to be fun in a 4 door sedan, hers is an auto.

It's not the fastest thing around but its a great highway car, also most people don't really know what it is. We hustle it to Topock from time to time and it pulls 22 mpg .

Perfect a for sale thread😬 apparently in CA it’s frowned upon with no emissions or mufflers on cars.

The newer Dodge Challengers especially with the ultra high horsepower supercharged engines. I was around when the 1st muscle car era died in '72. I wanted a 440 or hemi "Cuda back then but couldn't afford it. Now they go for 6 figures. Buy em while you got em. This looks like the possible ending of the 2nd muscle car era if the tree huggers get their way.

I'd put the OG Taurus SHO on this list. Ford kind of stopped everyone in their tracks on that one, and it was faster than anything in its class for several years. I owned a post facelift 1st gen (maybe they are considered a 2nd Gen car, dunno) with a 5 speed manual, what a great car. Wish I still had it.

I rented one in Pheonix a couple of months ago, they nailed the drivers position layout etc., super comfortable and fun car to drive.
Let my little Sis and her husband drive it and they both said the same thing.
