Kentucky Governor is a Democrat. if their laws are like Arizona's, when replacing a Senator, the next election there would be a race, then yet another in 2 years? I can't exactly remember how it went with McSally when McCain died. There were two elections she had to go through to get back on a 6 year cycle

Isn't replacing R's with D's basically the MAGA playbook and the results they have delivered in 18, 20 and 22?

I dont know why you would take it as a shot? It is just an objective observation of the results delivered here in Arizona and elsewhere? I thought MAGA would be proud of getting rid of McCain, Ducey and Flake. After all, that was their stated goal both by their leadership and in here all along.

With resect to Kentucky, the law says the governor appoints from the same party. So it would stay R until the next federal election when there would be an election for the balance of his term which ends in 27. And then an election in 27 for a full 6 year terms. The 6 year terms and the election of a new senator at the next federal election to fill a partial term or full term are federal laws. How it is filled for the interim period between resignation and the next federal election is governed by state law.

They taught this stuff in grade school, before they began teaching about how slaves are better off under slavery because the learn skills they wouldn't otherwise learn......

And I'm not sure how 75% of 29% is 50%?
