Any members out here this weekend?
We are camping there in September. How is it? Go to the Truck stop for breakfast then to lahinas for a drinkAny members out here this weekend?
So far it’s not bad. More space in between spots than CAMPLAND for sure. Met some of our neighbors yesterday super nice people that actually live in havasu full time. They have a Nordic SS. Only downside to mission bay so far is the hookup situation is kinda shit lol. But it worksWe are camping there in September. How is it? Go to the Truck stop for breakfast then to lahinas for a drink
This will be our first full day here. But I’d already say Campland for the kids. Mission bay has more of the relax vibe. Campland has all the amenities for the kids. Cool thing is we rode our bikes over to campland yesterday and let the kids hit the arcade we got drinks ran around while the dj was on the stage. For younger kids- 6 and under, which is better? Mission Bay or Campland?
I had a 40 foot fifth wheel that I would take there. And I didn’t have a long bed with a slide hitch where I could jackknife. Trying to clear those trees at the entrance of every spot if somebody was already parked directly across the street from me could take a little time. The new dirt spots in the north section are larger and include some pull through sites. I prefer them over the parking lot vibe of the original area. Still pretty tight if you have a longer setup.
Campland has dog shit spaces that are way expensive. But they have a ton of activities for the kids. For younger kids- 6 and under, which is better? Mission Bay or Campland?

We are in the paved parking lot sideThe new dirt spots in the north section are larger and include some pull through sites. I prefer them over the parking lot vibe of the original area. Still pretty tight if you have a longer setup.
I’ll get some pics later today. We are headed to seaworld today. This thread is WORTHLESS without pics!!!
Its very nice but we thought very expensive. They charge a resort fee and drinks are not cheapNever been there. We should check it out tho. We are headed to Sun Outdoors in Chula Vista for the first time on the 16th for a shakedown run on the new trailer. Anyone been there and how do you like it?
Yeah that's what we expect. Might just be a one-time thing for us.Its very nice but we thought very expensive. They charge a resort fee and drinks are not cheap

are those new side sites all dirt (or DG or gravel?) or is there a concrete pad like a small patio? The new dirt spots in the north section are larger and include some pull through sites. I prefer them over the parking lot vibe of the original area. Still pretty tight if you have a longer setup.
That’s not a bad option. Quiet at night for them but a short ride away for some fun. Is the beach decent? This will be our first full day here. But I’d already say Campland for the kids. I remember back in the day we would walk over to the bay and they had these little creatures that would bite your ankles or top of your feet if you just stood still in the water so be careful over there if kids say they get bit. This will be our first full day here. If I recall, all the hook ups are at the very back of the spots so if you don’t have extension cords or longer sewer hose, it’s hard to hook up.How so?
It’s been over a year since we have been there, but at that time, all graded dirt- they basically just smoothed the area off after they removed the old trailers, so there were some small pieces of tile and other construction debris mixed in. I don’t recall seeing any glass or nails/ screws but we put the mat down just to be safe.are those new side sites all dirt (or DG or gravel?) or is there a concrete pad like a small patio?
I’ve been to Sun Outdoor Chula and was quite surprised with how nice it was. We went down with some friends and neighbors. Spots were large & level. No problem with room for a large trailer & truck or MH and tow behind. Each camp spot comes with a propane fire pit. (Bring our own propane tank) or I think you can rent one?Never been there. We should check it out tho. We are headed to Sun Outdoors in Chula Vista for the first time on the 16th for a shakedown run on the new trailer. Anyone been there and how do you like it?
Have heard good things. We are going in OctoberWe are trying Sun Outdoors end of this month.
Hookups are behind motorhome no big deal but the sewer hookup is literally in your neighbors spot. On their patio side so it’s a dick move to hookup or dump. How so?
