Home depot has the Milwaukee Fuel 18v inflator w/ 2 5AH batteries and charger regular $497 for $199 right now...I just grabbed a bunch of Christmas presents.. Limit is 5.

Couldn't pass this up...Best the jungle website can do is $239 but only one battery, so methinks this is a pretty good deal.

Wow, looks like my conversion from Dewalt to Milwaukee has begun…..
I have a lot of both. This kit kills milwuakee especially batteries. It's the best deal going. You can also buy 2 batteries and Dewalt charger for $200 and get the battery or a tool. I bought it last night for batteries for one of my guys and buying this set for another guy next hd run.

Milwaukee has a lot of tools Dewalt doesn't which is great. Can't go wrong with either but the Dewalt batteries last a lot longer. Milwaukee did just release a new battery and if you buy the m18 12AH you get a 8 free. Which is a good deal. I just had 1 12AH die after 3 charges and you have to ship it in for warranty. It's $249 regular price.

What’s killing me is all of the tools that Milwaukee has that Dewalt doesn’t, especially all the different lights.
Everyone else I work around has Milwaukee however their drills don’t seen to last very long.
I’m kinda on the fence but just about to pull the trigger.

Just buy battery adapter from Amazon to use your dewalt battery in the Milwaukee lights you're wanting. I have Makita cordless tools at the house, and picked up a bitchin little Milwaukee cordless vacuum, bought a $12 adapter from amazon and all my Makita batteries work in it without issue. Way cheaper than switching out your whole lineup.

The Milwaukee rep told me a few weeks ago to wait until November 1st as I needed some M12 batteries. Not sure if the deals will get better tomorrow. But I bought the 2 pack of 3ah for $79 the other day. The 6ah m12 gets terrible reviews and I have been told to avoid those ones. They are currently $149 for 2. I will see what changes tomorrow when I go to home depot. Until the sales end I grab something almost every trip. And how busy I am that's daily so it ads up.

IDK why Dewalt hasn't come out with an inflator yet

Lots of negative reviews on it though. The AC cord you have to buy separate. Have not seen it in a package deal or I would of tried it out. So far the milwuakee one has worked great. Much faster than the CAT one I have from Costco. I have a slow leak on one of my truck tires and using it every few days lately. Airs it up to 70 easily and topped off 8 14 ply dump trailer tires to 100 psi.

Depot also has the M18 Blower, 2 batteries and a charger for $199. It's marked down the same. It's going to be an expensive Christmas buying all this stuff for myself!

Just ordered, thank you!

Not going to miss dragging my hose out of my garage everytime I need to air up my tires.
Lol me to. I have a decent set up for it with a 150' retractable hose and it's still bull shit. 😂

The inflator and cordless tools in general, really decreases the use on the air compressor at my house !

I have to agree with @NicPaus on dewalt batteries.

I got into the dewalt line about 10, maybe 11 years ago, and purchased about 10 batteries during that time (as well as about 25 tools). I run stuff daily so the batteries all get cycled. I've lost 2 batteries, mostly because I leave stuff outside and it gets rained on and full of water. I have zero complaints....except for the drill chuck on the cheap brushed drill (came in a 5 tool started kit) is an epic piece of shit, and the brushed circular saw is also a piece of shit, but that's to be expected for entry level stuff....both have been upgraded to brushless and they rock.

I refuse to buy anything from TTI after the bullshit they put me through with bad batteries years ago.

Do those inflators really work say if you want to air up 4 37” tires back to 60 psi? Or a jeep back to 37 psi

I would plan on 2 6ah batteries for that. I run 14 ply on my dump trailers. And hadn't checked the pressure for years. They were at 55-60. Did 4 up to 100 psi and it killed the biggest a 6 or 8 ah and had to swap in another. I let it cool down after the 3rd as I could hear the fan on it running.

My truck tire on 1 truck is at 45. Slow leak. It will get it to 70psi in around 4 minutes or less. Reason I bought it. I can't find the leak and I use it for the dump weekly. Newer Toyo I don't want to scrap.

Yes it does! We mounted a set of 4 37" tires on bead lock wheels and aired up to 38psi all on 5a battery, best inflator I've ever owned, also have a 12V that travels with us on any offroad/RV trips

Sounds good for the jeep. I hate having to hook a compressor to the battery each time.

I mounted a wired-in twin ARB in the F350 it runs the 37's up to 65psi at a rate of 1 psi per 3-4 seconds.

I have the m 12 inflator,

If I’m at the trail head, I’ll air up the jeep 37’s to say 25 /28 to drive home - just to save batteries! I can do that w/ one battery and fairly quick.
This would be Ocotillo Wells to Escondido 75 miles, not highway speeds for 2 hours !

Once home I’ll bump it back up to 35 / 40

I did all 6 of the boat trailer tires they were down 10-15 pounds each. Didn't use half a battery for comparison. But they are only 50 psi. Golf cart tires super quick.

If I didn't have the CAT 1 from Costco which sucks in comparison for air but is also a jump starter. I would definitely buy another for the river pad. It's a must have especially with over 100 tires to maintain.

My production department runs off Milwaukee impacts and drills. They’re good. They’re hard all day everyday drills last 3-4 years so do the batteries. I’ve been very happy with Milwaukee.

Yep, they take a little longer than a large compressor but work fine. Use it on the truck to get to 60/70 psi. I have the M12 and Ryobi version. Both are set and forget so the time doesn’t bother me much. Always something to do in the garage. Plenty fast on the trail to get someone up and running.

I wonder if the Milwaukee battery compressor will pump my motorhome tire to 115 😂

Yeah, shouldn't be a problem. But since the bundle comes with two batteries you can always bring them both to find out. The inflater also has four presets so you can enter 60 and 37 then you have two more for things like Motorcycle tires or bikes.

That inflator works alarmingly fast.

Do not use on bicycle or dirt bike tires.

Great for trucks though.

As time goes by my air compressor is slowly losing its place to better, more convenient electric tools being produced. I'm to the point now where the air compressor is only needed for inflating tubeless tires for popping beads. And I'm now running Nitromousse inserts in the moto bikes. Other than that It's just taking up valuable garage space.

I did read in our DeWalt manual that the run time is a specific length. Like 10 minutes. I would imagine that it is because the piston or other internals can’t withstand the heat generated. Running it longer could shorten the life. Like @DWC says there is a lot to do in a garage. I will set the pressure and run it for less than the max time being that there are only a few psi to fill. I do like that feature and really need to do it more often. 👍

Why? It's all I use...
It pumps the bags in my truck to 30lbs in several seconds.

I’d be concerned about popping a bicycle tire. Dirt bike might be ok but you have to keep your finger on the button. The auto shutoff won’t keep up.

If I set it to 30lbs for my bags, it’ll put 50 in by the time the auto shutoff gets a reasonable readout, which is only 6 or 7 seconds.

I’m referring to the Milwaukee m18. Bought it last year.

I have this one that has been good for me , pulled the trigger on this Milwaukee deal so I will compare it once it arrives. Not really sure why I picked up the Milwaukee but I’m a sucker for new tools haha. I’ll keep the better of the two in my garage and other inside toyhualer.

Thanks for the heads up, I just ordered one I have the M12 version, but it's worthless on bigger tires, tried to fill my motorhome tires and took about 5 batteries to get to 80 lbs.

I've had my Makita cordless tools for years and never ever had a tool or battery issue. Makita ain't cheap but you get what you pay for IMO. That being said I've got way to much invested in my stuff to even consider going to the red/yellow side.😁

I was ready to buy due to FOMO, but then realized I need a cordless grinder more than I need an inflator.
