Dam, Iron Mike looks old! I am not that far behind him, so I hope he KO's him in the 1st round! I'll be in on the fight, so back to the OP's question, whats the process for watching it??

Anyone watch the lead up show on Netflix? I'm hoping to see iron mike teach that youngster some humble pie.

Here's what I don't get. Jake Paul gets his name out more sure. But what's the real upside? If you win, you beat a 58 year old former champion. If you lose, you lost to 58 year old former champ. I see no upside other than money. But then where do you go from here? I don't know. Seems like a lose lose to me, if you're Jake Paul.

Think about how many people are gonna buy Netflix for one night then not cancel it or forget too. It’s actually genius lol
So....netflix gets their PPV event....lol

How much is a month of Netflix these days?

I think its a good representation of today's climate....young loud mouth social media kid against older values former champion who used to KO guys in 90seconds. Most of us here watched MT when we were younger and see how society has changed. So you wanna see the old guy knock the young whippersnapper out? No?

I want to see brain damage before they can peel mike off of him. 14 OZ gloves is a joke, and rumors Paul may wear head gear.

Also if Mike KO's him early they Take part of his money. It's a sh*t show not real boxing

So many memories of Iron Mike back in the day. Those were the days of great boxing 🥊. Bit earlier the greats like Roberto Duran, sugar Ray Leonard, Tommy the hitman Hearns, Evander Holyfield , Joe Foreman, in his later years…and on and on. Was a great time in boxing.

I agree with most who posted here but you guys forget one thing, Jake has self promoted this fight well into the millions of dollars in a sport that usually doest accept over nite wonders. It takes time, money and skill to make this kind of event, not sayin I like or condone this kid but lest face it, he will make a lot of money no matter what happens right??

Going to watch it, will be entertaining no matter what compared to other crap on TV. It may have rules or a hidden agenda but I don't believe that will matter in the moment. Tyson states he is a natural born killer and wants to hurt Paul. This may be for show but Tyson is a pit bull. Once he sees red. There is no pulling him off Paul. Watched some videos other day of Tyson training. He looks fast and hits hard. Watched video of Paul, he swings wild, can hit hard but no aim. Not compact and open up. Not good against Tyson.

We have the cheap version of Netflix that has a lot of commercials but it's included free with our T-Mobile phone plan.

I am definitely a Tyson fan. At one point I think he earned $400 million, ended up in bankruptcy and rebuilt his wealth talk about a learning curve.

I hope he knocks Jake the f*** out in 3 seconds

It’s not sanctioned = fake

In what boxing world is their a contract that says if you get hurt to early then your opponent is penalized monetarily?

I don’t get it but it has people believing it’s real and not entertainment.

17 mil a piece. Not bad
$40 mil for Paul, $20 mil for Tyson
if Tyson ko's him early he gets less

It's bs
I HIGHLY doubt that is actually in his contract. This is a professional sanctioned fight. I don't think the sanctioning body would allow that to fall on their table and be ok with it.

Wow lot more than I read last week. Big payday. I never understood why it’s always guaranteed money.

$40 million for Jake Paul, $20 million for Tyson, think all Guaranteed?

I really want Tyson to win, but Jake Paul is huge and way younger

Sounds like it is or was a bet, I was wrong.

Conventional wisdom: The shorter the fight, the better for Tyson. At 58, his stamina could be a problem.

Or, the longer the fight, the better for Paul. At 27, it would serve him well to tire the former champion.

So it should have been no surprise Paul offered to give Tyson $5 million if the former heavyweight champion could get past the fourth round.

Nor should it have been a surprise that Tyson said he wanted $20 million. (If Tyson failed to make it past the fourth round, Paul explained, he would have to get a tattoo that said, “I love Jake.’’ Although the tattoo more appropriately should read, “I fell for a really bad bet.’’)

The reason they are fighting in Texas is because that's where they could get it sanctioned with the rules they wanted. 2 min rounds, and 14 oz gloves, the idea that it is a "professional Sanctioned Fight" means very little. Think about how many boxing organizations there are.
It's an exhibition match for millions, neither are actively working towards a title or anything meaningful as a career in boxing.

Either way I hope it's entertaining.

2 min rounds are normally what amateur bouts are.

I’m actually kinda stoked to watch this fight, I can’t even imagine what it must feel like to get punched in the head by Mike Tyson. I think Tyson has “Dad” strength at this point and Jake Paul may not mentally function the same way after a Tyson blow to the head. Both dudes are athletes for sure, but Tyson is a different breed of human that really wanted to hurt his opponents back in the day. Don’t fuck with violent old men, they will hurt you. Same goes for bull riders, those little guys will hurt you, nothing you can do to them a bull hasn’t already done😉

I just watched the episodes to lead into the fight.... pretty well done.... gave me some insights into their training etc.... I say Mike comes out like a caged silverback and best take the kid early.... if it goes past Rd 2 we got old man issues

For us older guys……….. we have been served up a blast from the past!

I know I will be watching!

When I was younger……….. it took longer to park your car than the time an average Mike Tyson fight lasted. Back in the day, it was like watching a savage unleashed from the cage. Bam Bam Wham…….. and it was over! lol
