3 years ago when this happened I had migraines for like a month straight! 3 or 4 times a day! This shit sucks.

I put a frozen ice pack on Sonyas neck and it will take her headache away pretty quickly. Also you can put your feet in a tub or bucket of cold water. This will pull the blood from your head down to your extremities and relieve the headache.

I would get them once in a while.
Eliminated foods with MSG, Sodium Nitrate and lowered my caffeine intake, no Chinese food either. Less frequent now.

Yep. Mine always start wilt aura, poor vision then what looks like tearing multicolor jagged lines in both eyes open or closed. Usually lasts 10-20 mins, then 10 mins or so pain sets in. At first symptoms 2 excedrin migraine. Will control pain to a dull ache, 1 or 2 more after 4 hrs. After, even into the next day feels like a hang over headache.
This...when precursors start, 2 Excedrin Migraine chugged with a Coke/Pepsi/Dr Pepper. lay down in a dark room for an hour. I have prescription Sumatriptan 50mg, they are a 4hr coma.

I did not read this whole thread but wanted to throw something out there in hopes that it might help someone/some of you.

My wife used to get extremely bad migraines(multiple days, nauseousness, and passed out a few times). I heard someone talking on a JRE podcast about how they cut out dairy and their migraines went away completely(pretty sure it was Nick Swardson). I told her to try it for a week because we consumed a lot of dairy before that.

Needless to say she doesn’t eat/drink dairy anymore and very rarely has she gotten them since. It’s a PITA but it truly does seem to be the cause and she’s tried eating cheese or something to confirm, and sure enough she had a migraine the next day!

Just something for some of you to consider trying!

The wifes had them forever , used to be brutal and could take her out for a day (headache , nausea, dry heaves ) The first time included "word aphasia" , pretty scary indeed , then came Imitrex which was a a god send Now not so often but they seem to come in groups , Shes tried Nurtec but the copay is super expensive , My occasional ones are just annoying with a shimmering visual disturbance that last for 15 to 20 minutes

Well I have had migraines 5 days in a row. Luckily only once in the morning and I’m able to catch them early enough I can tame them down.

This shit sucks.
