I've been through it before and again I had to do the thing that all pet owners dread and struggle with, my 14 yo girl with renal failure but a heart of gold.

I fought my wife and son about getting a pup last year, glad we did I don't think I could take an empty house.

It's been a week and I can barely do this.

Sorry, man. Those are hard days. She looks like a real sweetheart.

Man that sucks. They become more like a child than a pet at times. We love our fur babies and it hurts to lose them. She looked like she was truly loved and lived a great life. Hold on to the memories. My condolences, sir.

Lost a couple dogs in the last few years. Tuff stuff. But on a positive note, this is a picture from one of my customers today. Their Golden just had pups. Thank goodness Andy got his pup back. Fee would be pretty bent up if I brought one of these home.

While we're on the dog topic.... My son found this little girl wandering in his neighborhood Saturday evening.... No name tag and none of his neighbors recognized her.... he has 2 large dogs that wouldn't take kindly to a little one, so he asked if we could watch her until the owner was found... She's a great dog, not really my type, but very well mannered.

Anyway, 2 days later... the owner was found and a tearful reunion happened last night....

Looks like the Goodbye thread is locked down?

I thought this was the Midwest section?

Wasnt aware any of us flatlanders had the power to do that:)

Everyday is an opportunity for some people to push the needle on how critical they can be towards others and how sensitive and offended they pretend to be about themselves.

@Tractorsdontfloat , do you bring the planter in and do maintenance type stuff, or does it really get an annual once over, fixing anything that may be an issue? I'm sure it would suck to have it go down, literally, in the field.

He's lying...otherwise he'd have to ban himself weekly.
Weird though. Usually when a thread gets locked, the mod who does it makes the final post. That one, they just pulled the cord.

I have to ban myself every once in a while, to not blow my cover. It's obviously working.;)

I wonder who did then?

Good morning,I hope you will start a new new thread on this year's farming adventure. Lasts years was very interesting and enlightening.
I can. I got a pretty good response to it last year that I am willing to continue. In the Midwest section or the lounge? Probably reach more non farm members in the lounge.

It gets serviced heavily in the winter and basically is brand new starting each season. Hopefully no major repairs are needed in season, but lots of electrical sensors in a dirty environment ... you do the math.

I think this section gets plenty of traffic, and it is the Midwest so I'd leave it here! Looking forward to it and hope you have a great year.
Here it shall be. I'll try to continue the story and not repeat myself too badly. Hopefully we can get some interaction and questions going. Makes my end of the thread much more interesting and easy when the work is done for me in the form of questions. Thanks Buck

Bachelor parties out that way must be different then I had pictured...
Hope it's just some stitches, and nothing too bad...also hope it isn't the groom. A few months before I got married, I pulled the rear wheels of my dirtbike and my chopper. I figured I'd lose interest if I had to reassemble to ride ;) No new scars or casts for the wedding:p

I guess the party will be memorable for some of the attendees.

Welp...I'm staying the night at the hospital with him. He has surgery at 9 am tomorrow morning. It's pretty rowdy. Tendions are exposed and they aren't too happy with us joking around and stuff like that. He is in good spirits and not in alot of pain so that's good.

Morphine tends to take the edge off 🥴
Surgery blows, but could be worse. I would say "have fun"...how about "good luck"? Never know, sometimes you get a hot nurse on graveyard!

Damn, just saw the pic.. at least they got everything clean. Hopefully he isn'toff work too much.
