Where's Big Bird?
Wouldn't fit in the baggage compartment. I tried.
Where's Big Bird?
That really puts the size of that motor in perspective. Wow.
This is an interesting situation.
I cant believe that the first thing the guy thought to do was start to loosen the tie bar?!?This is why you use 4 bolts up top and 2 in the lower holes. Oh, and it helps if you actually tighten the bolts too, and is a great example of why you do what the manual says and retorque them after a few hours of use.
We might just use 9/16” bolts on yours instead of 1/2” as well. That’s what the big boys are doing...
I only glanced at the bolts holding mine to the crate, but they looked like 3/8. I wonder if they used those bolts? The commentary was a bit dramatic.
I'm not a rigger of outboards, but I couldn't believe that was all that was holding 300s.
And yes, to take off the tie bar? That external bracket would have made for some great leverage to hoist that thing back up onto the transom with a few lines.
Yea, but he'd have a NDA on his end so no pics....smh....Neat idea... Maybe not use Chinese hardware next time.
Brian can machine some shit up that works.
Getting there.Cocktail hour soon I think

Blue accents are what showed up. It isnt what was ordered.
A model of an old race boat built in the 80's. Dean Reynolds built it, and gave it to me. Itll get hung up on the shed wall as decoration for the tiki bar. Used to hang up on my shop wall. What’s that mini tunnel hull against the garage ?
