Hope you follow this up with an shot when it's done, my curiosity meter is peaking  :D
They're quite common up here in the upper midwest. Dairy farmers have figured out that relaxed cows actually produce more milk. The carousel milking deal is all robotic. No abuse by pissed off hired hands, no intrusion by humans.

Best news I've heard all morning right here ----- "Also, I have separate insurance on the shop." ---- Whew !!! I was so hoping, but didn't want to ask :)

I can't wait to see what this view looks like when I can tell where the land ends and the waters begin, lol :p I've noticed in the aerial images how some neighbors have created paths across the island, in one pic it kinda looks like somebody had a tractor over there  maybe a weed whacker :D

We are working on the merry go round for the cows, 72 head milking carousel. View attachment 735794

OK youtube to the mental rescue :p Not that I'm interested in cows, got plenty of free-rangers roaming my ranch and fertilizing the place
Did an elementary school trip to a local milk processing and bottling facility, hated the smell so bad I never drank milk again, well except on cereal that is :p
But I love things mechanical, so now my curiosity has been satisfied

Funny how the cows just step right in, they know the routine :)

Getting Close to counter top time isn't it?

Sorry about the thief deal. Shit sucks.

We had 2 confirmed tornadoes in our area last night. One about 10-12 mile north around 6:30 to 7ish. The other about 4 miles south around 9:45.

We knew the second storm was coming and got out of the area with 30 minutes or so to spare before it hit. We never got rained on where we holed up but heard the sirens go off. Saw the path this morning right before it cut across the lake. Maybe 100 yards wide, trees snapped off all over the place.

Time to get quotes on an in ground storm shelter. I miss having a basement.

Glad to hear you weren't hit by the twister.

NWS is supposed to be here today to observe damage and see if it can be classed.

What I read from folks affected, it sure sounds like one to me. Loud train like sound and everything exploded at once. We will see what they say.

News just said EF2 on the ground for 6 miles.

And grew to 750 yards wide.

Glad it missed you, a lot of damage in a short time

Yeah. Why we left. News had us in the center of the projected track. And they weren’t very far off.

I don’t advise trying that during a storm especially a night, but we left plenty in advance.

Damm- after reading the last few pages, I understand why you all are so happy when summer finally arrives.

Because that means you’ve survived another winter.

You guys are tough... (but fun to follow via posts from the soft side of the country ).

The marina closed down in 2004 from hurricanes Frances & Jeanne, but in May 2018 it was announced that Carl Allen had purchased Walker's Cay and planned to redevelop it by 2020

I saw it. Man. That sucks to see.

I also noticed in the pics, that his basement walls have really bad frost issues. They're pushed in a bunch. Not good. Block basements suck.

Partook in HulaHut decommissioning. Helped Hula box up some items and load some cabinets, grabbed a couple things I had there, and took posters off the wall, all while enjoying a tasty beverage.

Oh, I provided motivational tunes from the truck. Just wasn’t right without the normal musical din going on there.

Not much left in there, Hula’s got a handle on it. Time to push the reset button...
