Someone installed a patio door up there with aspirations of building a deck off the back. It faces the lake. Zoning or $$$ shut that program down. That's why the 2x4's across the door.

Talking with my neighbors, an older couple from Chicago had it for a long time. The old man passed away, and she sold to the guy I'm buying it from. He's only had a year, and wound up moving to mke for a job he apparently couldn't pass up. It's been unoccupied for a while.
My guess is the old folks from Chicago bought it from triple b's wifes grandparents.
I'll know when I get the title work back at closing. It's easy enough to research at the courthouse.

At the hula hut now. Cleaning up the mess from yesterday and plotting my next move. only have a few minutes of grinding to prep for the next round of glass. The biax laid down really well. No little stray strands at the edges.

I

saw a highway sign tod

i just watchen the weather to see where it’s going and how I’ll go

If you take 80 west and go down 35 S be aware there are a few speed traps South of Des Moines which is why I prefer just heading down 55. There are still a few on 55 before coming into Springfield IL but I have found there to be more traffic so less of a chance catching a radar.

On a side note I do not understand why my talk-to-text capitalizes certain words....

I have been through both of those corridors frequently, and have not had any trouble. As long as you don't drive like a dick head it shouldn't be an issue:cool:

Speaking of speed traps. I was almost nailed this afternoon. My radar detector didn't go off. Cop was on the side of road with radar gun. I saw him and braked. Was doing 100 in a 70 zone. Here at 30 over they can confiscate the car for seven days and its a huge fine. I was lucky.
