No ladies?
Sounds like you made the best of it and still had a great day..
This is the second time this has happened to me.
1st time was a labbed prop about a year and a half ago. I related it to fatigue, wear and tear. I questioned the fact that I was in water that was pretty washed out and maybe it could have cavitated. Felt like a train coming off the tracks! The labbed prop also broke near the hub.
this time, not a labbed prop. I was running good water, maybe around 5k rpm, trimmin her up again after making the turn around pilot rock headed back to island. Felt a little vibration and thought the water conditions may have had some wind chop and slowed down. And still felt it wasnt right. Stopped to check and sure as shit... again, tip of blade gone... Didnt hit anything, no sign of any other damage.

CAn't wait till next month, sure hope the weather is nice for us like it was for you..
you need to keep those nicks filed of the leading edge, a prop guy told me
that they will start a little crack that will walk across the blade

Do you launch and retreive by yourself. Just curious. :thumbsup
I do it all the time with my 25' Eliminator at the marina. Cameron does it also. He does have a slip also.
