Mendeola 2d input shaft

Lost the clutch last weekend at the flag pole, finally got around to pulling it today. Throwout bearing was trashed too.

How much in and out movement is normal on the input shaft? I may be in for a rebuild. @SeanRitchie

Seriously though, you are this far into it, a freshen up on the trans is a good plan.

I agree, but we're heading out Friday so unless it's way out then it's going back together and i can send it out when we get back.

Answered on GD.com. Should not have more than .005" of in/out play. Anymore than that and it should be pulled to replace the mainshaft bearing under the nosecone. (full rebuild)

Weird, I never got a notification of the tag.

I should be open for business by early January. I'll make an official announcement here among all of the other sites and social media outlets once my doors are open.
