Memorial day weekend

Spent Monday and Tuesday at the station, went to havasu Wednesday morning to drop off the buick for new exhaust system, then went with my brother to check out a boat he was looking at. Saw the boat Wednesday, did a compression test Thursday, sea trialed it at 7 am yesterday. Not a bad few days, just my brother and I with 3 toddlers was a little tiring though.

And it didn't help when a young kid backed into my buick when it was on the trailer at in-n-out. I had compound in the truck and rubbed out the scuff before we even left the parking lot, that was a win.


Will be back at work sunday/Monday then Tuesday I head to havasu to get the buick, drive to California on Wednesday to take a recert class, then back to havasu Thursday to help my brother take delivery

This car is a silver on grey also. He should list it on some of the roadmaster social media groups. I'm finding these cars have quite a following

I had to work, so we stayed local. Went for a nice harbor cruise Saturday with friends in town from Havasu. Nephew (Marine stationed in SD) rolled up for the weekend too. Super nice day yesterday on the water. Toured an 84' ocean Alexander, kids raced the two dingys around, booze cruise on the duffy, then hit the yacht club for cocktails and a filet. Back to the boats partied til 1 am. Good little day.

We rented a pontoon on Lake Eufaula in Oklahoma yesterday. Nice beaches, nice boats, and nice people makes it a lake I’ll come back to. Lakefront homes of all sizes and conditions with great restaurants and bars on the water.

That's really good to hear! Sorry you have to work all weekend, but hopefully a good start to a good season.

Thanks, it's what we do and 95% of our guests are really good people who we enjoy meeting and sometimes taking on rides around the area.

I wasnt gonna go out this weekend but am thinking today that I want to make use of that free detail I got on Thursday. Marlee and I just hung out with some marina neighbors Saturday and went to a pool party yesterday. This morning, Ive got the boat uncovered, am sticking in a take-out bluetooth headunit I got my hands on, and then waiting for a couple of friends to arrive.

Successful weekend, got to shake down the Mean Streak since we fixed it and put it away without running it last fall.

Spent the second day out on the cruiser, wired in a new Bluetooth stereo underway. For being a boater I can’t handle being in the cabin for long periods when underway. Sea sickness kicked in heavy!

That’s pretty much a wrap. Safe, fun weekend. Busy but not too busy. I’d do the cabana boat barge again for a busy weekend.

Spent the day at Headless Hulas place for good grilling and good friends. Took a short ride on Griffs 34’ Fountain CC with 3 450’s on the back. Sweet ride for sure.

Reminds me old Parker. They all go over to Jessie’s Cantina for good food and drink. There is about 100 homes on the river.
