here is a different one for you guys. A month ago I blew a tire on the way to Havasu and it tore up my truck bed and bumper, even the exhaust pipe. My truck is in the shop for two or three weeks, so no Havasu trips.

I'll be headed to the Scots festival at the Orange County Fair Grounds. I will be competing in the Scottish Athletics or the Highland Games. It's been around 10 years since I have competed in this sort of competition, hopefully my back will hold up. Either way I know the rest of the weekend I'll feel like I've been in a car wreck. It's a total of nine heavy events including the caber toss. Ibuprofen and the hot tub are in my future.

We're doing the standard protocol for Havasu Holiday Weekends. Day Drinking at the pool on Saturday and letting all the Newbies & Weekend Warriors burn themselves out, lol. Then Sunday we will launch and head to either Topock 66 or Havasu Springs for breakfast (Not sure which one yet). After that hangout on the lake then head home to BBQ Dinner and a Bourbon/Cigars. Monday we usually head to Red Onion for Bloodies then either a 1/2 day on the boat or hang out poolside then head home around 6pm.

I learned a long time ago the 1st Day of Memorial Weekend on Havasu is always a Clusterfuck on the lake. It's a waste of a day!!

Well just found this in today's newspaper so I guess everybody knows what I'll be doing as always. And I just got all of these pictures sent over to me from a lady that saw me out flying this morning. We live in a very small town here in Havasu.

Pretty chill BBQ. Hamburgers and hot dogs. Inviting my son's in laws as they are also friends from church and moving to Texas soon. Also inviting another family that is neighbor and church friends that could benefit from a chill social get together. Should be mellow and enjoyable. Daughter is in town from BYU and Mom is in town from Maui so it will be a nice family friendly get together.

I've learned that to ensure I get my son and DIL it's easiest to just inviter her family, then they don't have to make the choice. Who wouldn't want this cute couple hanging with them for a bbq?

The only problem with the color is that I own two that are black one that is yellow and another one that is blue. But if you look underneath they all say HAVASU PARTY BUS underneath them. But I am usually flying the black one oranges leading edge on the bottom all of the top is white and silver. As far as boating this weekend I'll be running my Yellow Mini Kat on Friday then I will be running my custom light up Mini Kat at for Saturday and then I will be running my V8 Sprint Racer on Sunday. I feel sorry for my wife when I'm dead and gone she's got a hell of a lot of toys she's got to throw away!

Yesterday was not good. SXS started Tuesday night when we got in from Oregon. Wednesday morning will not start or take a charge, so ordered a new battery. Then shop A/C wouldn't work. Bad breaker, then the tractor has a transmission leak. Then yesterday had a huge rain and now I have some tractor work to do once I fix the leak.

Have to start packing up the shop. Fuck me need more bourbon.

I saw you guys flying yesterday as I was launching. I will be working all weekend. Probably walk the channel on Saturday after I get off. Boated yesterday, very much the calm before the storm. Saw a herd of 14 mountain sheep in steamboat. Nice day on the water.

Yeah yesterday was really nice for flying flew up all through the mountains up to Park Mojave, all through pirates cove ran back down the river flew around Riviera and then came back. These next couple days are going to be all blown out.
