For whatever reason I missed the actual race last year. Had it set to record and never happened. Same thing this year, my TIVO style recorder through Dish has a mind of it's own. Never know when stuff is actually going to be there or not.

Gas monkeys Richard Rawlings will continue to loose. The reason is to him it’s just the money and a small reputation factor. The reason he will loose is because he didn’t build the car, race the car or work on the car his guys did. To them they are hired help and if they loose well they had fun doing it and didn’t cost them a dime.

Someone like Ryan Martin, drove the hauler to az. Personally tunes the car. Helped with the car. Financed the car and raced the car himself.

Hey I have a question. Why were the 405 guys complaining about the 526 hemi the gas monkey team was running. The 405 guys were running a 544 wedge, not a bad motor?

This show was kind of entertaining years ago, now it is so scripted, but those cars to move.
