I'll read up on it and get back to you. Not familiar with it. Looks like Steve Balmer is a big proponent. You know Steve, an actual capitalist.

Why is there never enough money for the school districts? The answer to why our educational system is so poor is always never enough money.

Just once, tell us how much money is enough and we will give it to you. Then don’t ask for more and let’s see what the results are.

It’s because they actually don’t know how to fix it. Bottom line they need old teachers that don’t give a shit out of there, lower classroom sizes, kids that don’t have to be taught English and a solid family structure who cares about their kids education.

And people take notice......
California Losing Residents
Via Domestic Migration. For many years, more people have been leaving California for other states than have been moving here. ... On net, the state lost 1 million residents to domestic migration—about 2.5 percent of its total population. These population losses are low in historical terms.Feb 21, 2018

It's Calif. people will vote for it and shoot themselves right in the wallet. I don't understand why anyone would vote to reduce their income.

The only ones voting in that shit hole are those who stand to gain economically and/or politically.

Rod says this is #fakenews.

Apparently the exodus is not something to fret over as it can be corrected by more taxes on those who remain. Californomics 101

Why don't we cut the TWENTY people who make over 200k a year and the three that make over 300 that work for LAUSD that have caused the issue then reassess the situation

Why don't they make you prove your a citizen or have a visa and cut out all the free food for everybody(if you can't feed em don't have em).
That will free up class sizes, teachers and money.
seems simple enough.

But back to measure EE.
It doesn't look like they will get the 66% they need.

years ago i worked for lausd as a bus mechanic at two different yards, san pedro st and the 10 across from administration and the sun valley yard, the mechanics i worked with at both yards were all good guys but it was always slow down don't be in a hurry take your time , they worked harder looking busy than working. administration had more immigrants working there than us born, no one was ever in a hurry, it was wasteful then and i doubt it has changed , couldn't handle it left for better things after 9 months

The entire government apparatus is like that. I'm happy as hell that this measure was crushed and maybe, just maybe, the private sector is waking up to the fact that the public sector is simply a bunch of thieves.

Until the idiots of the left are removed, it won't change unfortunately. Their voters are obviously mentally challenged and that's the hurdle to get over.

Yea that crap happens in the private sector also, but the pensions that those bastards get on our dime are complete bullshit. It's the greatest theft in history and it appears the sheep are waking up maybe.

For the record, real LEO deserve a hefty one, all the rest can suck it.

We're talking about a school district that purchased a billion dollars worth of iPads, paid retail, gave them to kids and lost them all.

Sure, give those fucking idiots more money, it'll make fucking idiots like Rod drip from their collective vaginas.

Fucking idiots.

They tried to sneak this single measure in on a random Tuesday, and mobilize all teachers to vote to get their 2/3 approval. Glad they got walloped.

Remember, public pensions started has a benefit to being law enforcement or fire. That’s it. Then it spread more and more and was renamed “public sector” pensions. Now every position has one. It’s funny when the state, political figures and others blame the pension problems on police and fire.

I hear you Dave and shouldn't have left you firemen out.

With that said, I feel that LEO and paramedics should have the highest, although ALL should be looked at in a reduction. If the LEO & fire unions were to grow some balls and go against their handlers in addressing the out of control spending this state provides for illegals and the welfare class, the private sector be able to be persuaded.

I don't think that will happen, but I strongly feel you boys may regret it in the long run...........................when drastic measures are needed.
