Wow...that's pretty incredible setup. Definitely a rare piece!
Yeah pretty cool. It was the last all wood 20 Campbell ever built. Was in real rough shape when I got it.
They lengthened the cockpit an extra 18 inches to accommodate the second engine.
The Campbell’s like the look so much they built a plug to match and all the glass boats were copied from this boat.

Few more tow vehicle shots from over the years couple different Fords and a couple chevys starting in 1982 with my 2.5 liter hydro on through 2008 with 104 in the window of the chevy on the return road...guess I’ve always liked White Duallys cause they look good with about anything, including the one I have now...maybe a Ram next time!😁

Don’t feel bad for the 03 Expedition. She has lived a pampered life 70K miles and only has to pull it 2 miles to Windsor and a little around town. We ordered it specifically for Boating (cloth interior), posi-traction and tow package. Budnick 20’s are staggered and mono-chromatic paint was done by a buddy. Ski will be getting a matching paint job or wrap in the fall.

1993 there were 21 pro gas flats trying for only 8 spots. last year for the class. I red lighted in finals threw away a 7.47 at 144.85

like the post because of the 21 PGF field, ... not the red light ..:) that sucks... helped a team from Vegas in PGF those years, great memories👍

.

This was taken a couple of years ago, just before I sold the Chaparral. I had taken out the 496 and Bravo 3, and installed a 675 HP 540 EFI bullet and a Bravo XR in its place. I had also installed a full hydraulic steering system. It was a real sleeper, top speed was about 78 MPH.

Kinda funny huh? All that work and money and it still wouldn't hit 80. :D :D

.

They don't match, but they're from the same time period. The Howard is a '67, the F-100 is a '66.

.

This was taken at Plowman's Creek Park on the Brazos River. We used to have a great party there during the first week of October.

If only the holding rope could look like that again. Best years of boat racing ever
Hard to compare eras. The early 90’s were fun, and the boat turnout was pretty good...if you were around for drag boat racing in the mid 70’s, it was pretty tough to beat...
7 different Flatbottom classes and 6 different hydro classes most all with 12-18 or more boats trying to make 8 boat fields...At the 1975 Nationals there was 25 Blown Fuel Hydros trying to Qualify! Plus you had an average of 2 races per month Minimum from March through October Between the NDBA and KCBC as well as the APBA up north.

I was lucky enough to run in 1975 and all throughout the 90’s.
Lotta fun in the 90’s I gotta say too though...and some Badass boats and great people!

This one doesn't match the formula but matches the skeeter, ill post up pictures of the skeeter later. Love this damn truck, Z71 4wd dropped 5" with helper bags in the rear, does everything I need it to do and wife likes it better than the 2500hd it replaced
