Pretty simple, if you are infected and know it, you shouldn't be out and about anyway. But WTF, if you are, then wear a mask. If you are asymptomatic, infected/contagious without symptoms and perhaps not yet tested just put on a friggin' mask and stop spreading the damned virus unknowingly. If you are presently clear of any virus, then why not at least try to protect yourself? In conclusion, when out in public, wear a GD mask. What can it hurt, besides your own personal vanity?

So the public would not deplete the stock before the first responders got them. Imagine having to work face to face with a covid patient and being told sorry we don't have a mask for you. It happened to one of my customers She took the week off. Another friend Sister at another hospital in Santa Monica told the same. Now they are being threatened with losing there license if they refuse to work without 1.

That’s may be what they claim to cover themselves. This is all coming out in waves they are basically baiting us the fish along. Start out slow and continue to pile on and extend the lockdown. Anyone that thinks on May 15 they are going to open things up I think you will be mistaken. I’m guessing around May 8th they bait us along with another extension till June 15.

I've been shopping for my parents. If my mom wasn't 70 on oxygen from her COPD, I wouldn't wear a mask. But since she is at a high risk, I wear a N95 mask out. Just a precaution.

I just ran to pick up a drink at a nearby watering hole in L.A. (And not wearing a mask or face covering!). While driving over there, I saw numerous folks who were out and about (Not 6' apart either). Some folks were wearing masks or face coverings while others weren't. You know what I noticed? The people wearing masks were constantly touching their faces trying to move the masks around to try and make it more comfortable. Or maybe it was fogging up their glasses so they were adjusting them. Who knows.
But the people who weren't wearing masks weren't touching their faces or moving things around on their faces. I thought we were supposed to practice "Social distancing," washing of our hands and limited touching of one's face. Well, if these masks cause people to put their hands near their faces more often than they normally would, doesn't that sorta defeat the purpose?? Lame.

Took a drive down PCH today, I guess HB figured people would take parking ticket to get on beach so now all the parking spots on beach side are coned off.

I went out to pick up a few things as was not allowed to enter 2 different stores without a mask on. So I came home and whipped something up that does fuck all but apparently makes the sheep happy. Gonna drop by the local private liquor store later when the owner is there and prepay him to get me a couple cases of my favorite rum so I don’t have to deal with big businesses anymore.

And fuck Amazon too....they won’t deliver shit until next month unless it’s deemed “essential”.

Was gonna get my kid a few early birthday presents. I guess we’ll just fire up the mill and lathe and try and make a rocket that can reach Wuhan from my backyard. With any luck it’ll hit Sacramento instead.
