@530RL maybe you can explain to the class why yore county is too stupid to do it the night of and needs 10-13 days possibly?

😆
It’s quite simple actually.

Mainly because there are just shy of 80 different individual items on each Maricopa County ballot combined with dozens of different ballots depending upon city and legislative boundaries and some luddites refuse to comprehend proven technologies because they think Hugo Chavez programs from the grave.

It is the ignorance of conspiracy theorists who actually prevent timely and accurate results.

@530RL maybe we should push this up to the lounge and see how it plays?

Look at the bright side, I'm sure orange juice and Bobby V will back you!!! 🤣
Sounds like you have it figured out and math is wrong.

While showing your work and calculations in simple math, please explain how you would implement your policy to manually tabulate over 2.2 million individual ballots with over 200 total different races across the county in a few hours all manually as you suggest. And don’t forget your proposed manual accuracy checks. 🤷🤷🤷

"Gee Wally, how did they count the vote and call the elections the same day?"
"There you go again Beaver, with the Conspiracy Theories..."

Maybe Elon could share with us how he plans on opening, verifying signatures and compiling the results of over 200 different votes for 2.2 million ballots in a mere 6 hours while not using technology, but by doing it all by hand as is demanded?

Or is it just more whining without a rational solution that can be simply explained?

I suspect Mr. Musk's solution uses technology, the exact technology so despised by the luddites who complain but can offer no plausible or rational manual solution.

In western Pennsylvania, officials from Allegheny County said Tuesday that they were on track to deliver their election results for Pittsburgh and the surrounding area a few hours after 8 p.m. on Nov. 5, when polls close, because of an all-hands-on-deck approach they have been testing. Allegheny is home to about 1.25 million residents.

"People want results quickly. That's the expectation, that's the bar," Abby Gardner, director of communications for Allegheny County, told Newsweek Wednesday. "No one has said to us 'I'm worried that you are going to have your results too fast, it should take you longer'."

The picture looks different in Maricopa County, Arizona, where officials have said it could take up to 10 to 13 days to process all its ballots. Maricopa, which includes Phoenix, went for President Joe Biden in 2020 by a margin of about 45,000 voters (in a county of four million people).

Maricopa's slower pace comes despite Arizona being one of 12 states that allow processing and counting of mail-in ballots ahead of Election Day, while Pennsylvania is one of 23 states which prohibit that count from taking place until the day itself.

Does Maricopa County use "Secret Sauce" ???
It's AZ, they're probably still using the ole Binford 1000 envelope slicer and framistan detabultor, meanwhile Allegany County's "Secret Sauce" is ----

"Allegheny County election officials said the “secret sauce” to their county’s success is its high-speed envelope-opening machine. With an attachment, the Bluecrest Vantage mail sorter can open up to 50,000 envelopes an hour, according to the manufacturer. Allegheny County also uses three Opex Omation 306 machines for smaller ballot-processing jobs, which the manufacturer says can open 40,000 envelopes an hour.
Workers then physically remove the secrecy envelope from the return envelope, and run the secrecy envelope through the opening machine, allowing access to the ballot inside.
Then, workers take it out and flatten it so that the votes can be scanned and counted by a tabulation machine."
One sample ballot I saw from a highly populated Pittsburgh District had a total of 8 ballot items.

I realize your intent for this thread is simply to rant, demean and rile up your fan club and in that regard I will be properly ridiculed and flogged for intruding. 🥴

Regardless, thought the process interesting, I haven't a clue how Maricopa County counts ballots. 🤷‍♂️

They complain that the signatures were not adequately verified, then they ask why it takes so long to count the votes.

They insist that all 2.2 million ballots are hand sorted, tabulated and counted, all of the 4 complete pages, then they ask why it takes so long to count the votes.

Fact is they just complain. They have no solutions, they have no answers, just criticisms. But then again, that is why a statue has never been erected in honor of a critic. :)

Two weeks. What? Banker's hours? Who's counting, Boeing? Throwing you a bone, you know better, you know the truth.
In 13 days, Elon could tag team a solution. Yes, math is hard. But. We're not talking rocket science here. It's counting.

After 2020, not a doubt in my mind that there was/is cheating in AZ. 2022, just more evidence. Evil human nature, to be sure. Not a business entity, so there is ZERO incentive to clean it up. After all it's Government. No profit in honesty.
In a way, self preserving by soft crime. No downside, as they then turn around and attack and beat down the truth until the truth is no more.
The pre "Borg."

I must admit, I am a bit of a sucker for your frequent "Sensationalized" reporting tactics. If I could find a logical reason to defend you, I wouldn't discriminate. 🤣;)

Anyone else remember the 2016 dem primaries when they launched their new app and it took weeks and weeks to get accurate(?) results for their primaries? And you wonder why counting ballots will take weeks and weeks? Obviously math is not their strong point...

That lefty supporting brotherhood and I broke it off after 25 of my 50 years in the biz, even got my friggin pin 😁.

That divorce eventually cost me 33% of my retirement bennies, monies I'd personally contributed paying my dues monthly.
Took me two years of jumping through their obstacle course of red-tape hoops as they tried everything to wear me down, f*ck-em, I eventually prevailed and get my checks monthly for that remaining 67% of contractor contributions.

For the IBEW and other construction unions, the mass contractor exodus of the late 80's and early 90's and the establishment of alternative certified apprenticeship courses, proved to be a rude awakening for the "Union Leadership Establishment".
Ultimately it was that contractor and membership coup and it's resulting "Awakening" that encouraged the improvements enjoyed by members today.

A similar "Awakening" needs to shake the pillars of this great nation. Those at the top must be "Awakened" to the reality that their positions are tenuous at best, as like the IBEW of yesterday, they've clearly forgotten just whom they work for.

I Boomer Taboma, endorse that message. 👍
And that's all I've got to say about that. :)

Bunch of cheating bitches down there in that corrupt ass county. Sounds very similar to when that scumbag Flake threatened a Charlie Kirk producer for throwing the first ever MAGA rally, right @530RL ? 😆
James O'Keefe just added 2 days to the count with that phone call. Total interference since she had to uncross her fingers to answer the call and lost the number..

He doesn't say "Quit your fraudulent registrations."

Instead he says "Please do a better job at faking your shit when you try to register Mickey Mouse"

Of course Richer is one of these true conservatives, right?
