March 26th Pier to Pier beach cruiser booze cruise

I've been getting hit up recently to do another booze cruise on the beach cruisers.

It really is a good time ... so, let's do it again. The date is March 26th and the meet up time is 10am at Balboa Pier.

We'll ride to Newport Pier and do some boozing and bar hopping.

If we feel like it, we can ride to Huntington Pier.

Either way, a good time will be had for sure.

For those of you who want to participate but don't have bikes, there is a rental shop literally as you pull into the parking lot as indicated by the pin on the picture. McRib and PVHCA have rented from here before. They have very reasonable rates.

Yeah, I know ... but at least it isn't Easter day. We actually had another trip planned ... but would've come home on Sunday. Therefore, we had to shuffle trips. I actually have Easter weekend off this year and get to spend it with my kids.

I did this bike ride with a more sedate group late last summer. Totally a fun and easy ride. I kept cold roadies in my insulated coffee mug so I never had to go without.

We don't unfortunately, there are 5-6 places that rent bikes in the balboa area.

I've got Segways for 10 people if that interests anyone. But I wouldn't recommend drinking too much on one your first time.

Thanks for the update Hoots. Richard E. mentioned it earlier in the thread as well. Therefore, whoever plans on renting a bike, will need to find another shop nearby. There are plenty around ... just need to look. Or go buy one and not worry about it again.
