My current work truck was getting a little tired with 221,000 miles. So I was poking around the local sources and found this one. Its a 2014 XLT, but only has 27,000 miles. It is only one year newer than my current truck, but since it will only get thrashed over time I am not wanting to drop fat money on a fancy new F- 350. This will do all I need it to at a quarter of the cost. It has the 3.7L V 6 with 300hp. I know it tows pretty well. 20 mpg on the freeway and 15 combined. Not great but not bad really.

I'll swap over my black rims and Falken tires, drop the gay running boards, move the tool box and rack and then try to not mess it all up right away. LOL

Apparently it was previously owned by two older gals that run a little ranch in Jamul. 2700 miles a year is all they drove it. Already has a tow hitch, all service records and the owner's book in the glove box. It's like new inside too. Crazy. I'm not a fan of the fabric interior but for under $20K, I'm not gonna complain.

I have no plan on selling mine, but I do like 1k miles a year now that I work from home. I uber when I drink, so to the supermarket and back. Not getting to the river enough obviously as well. 2018 LTZ 1500 Crew, 2wd, loaded, just turned 21k miles. 6k in 6 years. I am hoping to have this thing a long time.

Cloth seats won't vulcanize themselves to your lower back and legs in the summer sun/heat.

Cant beat that even if its a ford.LOL but yeh i dont see the point in spending thousands more for a new one that will be driven into the ground when this will do for most.

I bought my sons old car when he got new so i can commute from phx to oc like i do if im going to be putting 25k a year doing so ill do it with a 3000 dollar car.has 238k on it got it with 219k but well maintained too.If i bought a new car it would be high milage and worthless before time its paid off.Already got my moneys worth 10k miles ago
