it's "you're" :)

Anyone who isn't worried about china copying their shit is already done.

I invested into the company, so technically I am making them for myself as well.

Brian

If your worried about China then your done before you start.

China does not recognize ANYTHING patent related but you need to have your ducks in a row so they can't sell here if your that concerned. Then you can apply world wide (China could still copy). All this shit is super expensive. Defending adds super expensive to uber expensive.

And yes I have been through all this.

Or you can just make a freaking ton and sell the shit out of them until the course is run. Invest and retire.

Nevermind....I see you making them for someone. I was under the impression the idea was all you.

Yes sir,

In this shop we do American Made. Even our swag is American Made.

Brian

Do you know where I can get a couple American Flags, 3 x 5 that I can use on my telescoping flag pole and at my house?

Flags that are American Made? I can't seem to find one.

Here are the 3 components.

The nut is tightened, shrinking the ring and tightening around the circumference of the hose. Can't come off.

These are the prototypes, Mine don't have the flats yet and I haven't machined the wedge yet.

Ask any questions you have.

I want to hear the good, bad, and ugly.

What's the adjustability on them? Like when you put a hose over a barbed fitting it increase the OD of the hose. They look bad ass and I already have a couple of places I want to put them.

Several year ago(15 yr ) I had seen a similar product like those .I like the looks but never had purchase them .
It was a pricey item.
Glad to see something like that again.

For tight areas the worm drive hose clamp is still king. Great idea though. Marine environment they will be perfect.

If there are no room for the wrenches, you are correct.

Thanks,

Brian

Did you see the pictures?

Do you still want me to come by?

Brian
I did. Would like to see em in person and see how they work. I have a project I'm doing right now I could maybe sell em on.

But I really need to see em work in real world conditions to be able to push em for you. :)

The only issue I see is the same issue that exists with the worm gear style clamps....they have no provision to maintain clamping pressure as the hose relaxes over time. Even though they're not the most user friendly things on the planet, I still prefer the OE automotive spring clamps...they maintain clamping force forever.

OE spring clamps are good, but they don't work well under boost pressure.

Cool Idea, basically an EMT fitting for rubber hoses. I do have one question, typically EMT fittings only have to be large enough to allow movement of the piping until tightened. Most rubber hose fittings will have a barb at the end of the fitting to ensure that the hose clamp which ever type will not allow the hose and fitting to separate, is there enough gap to allow it to fit over the barb and if so is the gap closure to tighten the fitting down? also what about variation in rubber hose thickness?

The hose clamp will slide over the barb.

Typically the clamp goes on the hose before installation. If the barb is too large of a diameter, then the clamp can either be placed "behind" the barb and the hose slid through it, or the clamp be disassembled before the hose installation and then reassembled after the hose is installed.

Make sense?

Also, come around back on McBean. Parking out front is minimal.

Abort that mission temporarily, traffic moving 10MPH before Sunflower. I got off and turned around with my tail between my legs. :)

Try again a little earlier tomorrow morning.

Sorry about that.
