The new Cobra being built has these incorporated. Slick system. Really nice boat.

Pulled them out of a 2012 Cobalt for a neighbor last year. Couple of them didn't work correctly, he wanted them gone. It probably had to due their age and no maintenance IMO. They were stiff as a preachers prick at a boy's home.

Cool idea!

I have a feeling the KISS(Keep it simple stupid) methodology is a better option here though.

Pretty hard to beat pin cleats with combined finders and lines.

What do they look like on? I try to avoid things that are proprietary and multi function in the event they create a bigger hole in the boat, go under as a company and now I cannot just replace them with a regular cleat!

Possibly cool... But not everything needs to be improved/automated, and my guess is this falls into that bucket...

Dock Lines - Anything beyond proper size, color, length, eye splice and quality is likely either unnecessary or just plain over doing it.

My brother has this funky system of flat bumpers with toggle straps on backside of them and elastic straps for lines that use caribeaners on the ends. He’s always fussing with his system while I’m tied up already and pumping fuel for 10 min before he’s done.

There is a reason why Taylor made bumpers have been made the same for ages. And why dock lines have common standards too.
If it ain’t broke, don’t fix it.
