I will add my experience for your reading pleasure. Two years ago I thought I would check out what all the hype was about and got a stream box from captain stream smart. Couldn't get it set up right so dave helped me on facetime. Once it was working it was still a clunky system and totally quit working after a couple months. Basically I paid over 300 too watch maybe 6-7 movies and spent hours trying to get the thing to download updates.. now it's a paperweight. No thanks i'm sticking with Netfli, prime, and hulu

My first two Stream Smart boxes lasted over two years. This latest one has already lasted a year. We literally watch shows every day on it. For 200 bucks they are a deal. 200 bucks isn’t even a weekend of gas in one of the boats. I don’t see how it isn’t a great value. Idk. People bitch about how much shit costs, but a nice dinner and drinks is almost 200 dollars. How many hours of entertainment does two years of movies and shows provide?

Bunch of cheap fucks in here, you guys sound like Milk Money. [emoji849][emoji1787]

Amazon Fire Box is the ONLY box I would ever buy. Keep slanging your Android crap that is a paperweight in 12 months.......I ain't buying it.

If I am going to pay for something than I will pay for HBO, Showtime, Starz and Cinemax streaming on my Firebox. It's less per year than this crap.
Ok so for everything you just mentioned, not even including PPV Events or sports packages, what would be your monthly cable bill? My guess somewhere around $35 to $50 per month. But lets go low and say $20 per month thats $240 per year just for HBO, Showtime, Cinemax, that doesn't include NFL Sunday Ticket or any other sports package or PPV Events.

$200 per year is cheaper then most of these IPTV Services that are also out there selling monthly subscriptions. With the Bullet you get one Bullet Box and 2 activation's on any device, that's a very good deal to get solid programming. I just mailed a Bullet to Dave J. Lets see what he thinks and we will just hold off on all the bashing for now until Dave gives his review. Fare enough?

Bigbore thank you for your honest opinion. Over the years I have learned that there are certain people out there that just can't navigate Kodi boxes such as my Renegade Outlaw. There is just too much to learn, so many addons to choose from and when something goes down its almost like the world is coming to the end. I am not being bias or judgmental but the groups that have historically had a difficult time with our boxes are Wives, Elderly, and Hispanic. This is why the Bullet was created, to provide a media box that doesn't use Kodi and is simple to use. My mother is 84 and has never been able to navigate any of the boxes I have sold. Its way to complicated for her. I hooked up a Bullet, showed her just one button to push and she is now watching live TV on the Bullet with no problems. Absolutely Amazing!

I’ll go back to the op tomorrow to get the info to order one. 199 right? I saw 299 on the website earlier but I’m sure there’s a code

I'm going to say I'm about as thick as they come when it comes to electronics, but growing tired of my 175 month cable bill. I may have to give this thing a try. Can it be picked up in Havi this weekend or is it a order online deal?

I have a clarity question Dave M. Is the Bullet just for live TV and such, or are there apps similar to the Kodi platforms where you can search out movies/tv shows like in say, Exodus? Our Streamsmart boxes have never had issues aside from losing the IPTV’s recently, but I’ve had Real Debrid since mid 2015 and just use those streams.

How does this differ from say an amazon fire stick that you can download apps and watch, movies, live tv, PPV fights, etc all for 25 bucks?

I make it a point not to buy products that are embroiled in so much controversy.

I find it amusing that you would question my integrity regarding anything.

My boxes I have gotten from Dave M have always worked fine. You can ask any of the 30-50 people that have watched all the big PPV fights in my garage over the years.

The only ones I have ever had problems with were the firesticks, and the two capt streamsmart boxes I bought. One flickers, and the other one would never load. That said I think that was an anomaly as other people had success with them.

But as a guy that makes my living on my name and integrity I don’t really appreciate the insinuation.

Oh and waffles.. I don’t make $$ on magic boxes. I could make 25 a box, I always tel them to keep it and every ten or so send me a box that I usually give to friends as a gift. So “stacks” might be the wrong term.

I get that it’s winter but honestly I am
Pretty shocked at the behavior of the people in this thread.

Honestly when I got mine I shared it with the group because it saved me a ton of money. My old cable bill was hovering around 200.00 a month. So for me the original ones paid themselves off in six weeks.

I’ll never bring up one of these things again. This is fucking crazy.

A lot of people asked my why this thread was deleted..

The answer is because the behavior in this thread was abhorrent. I asked a friend of mine to come on here and tell everyone about the latest and greatest in the magic box world and basically he got stepped on for it.. and hell even I'm getting stepped on for it. Suddenly he's some sort've scam artist, and I'm making stacks of money on these things..

Reality is Magic Box Dave sells thousands and thousands of these things. He might sell 50 off of RDP. Him coming here and explaining this stuff takes a lot of time out of his day, and answering questions etc. The comments in this thread are absolute bullshit.

Everything from trying to question the guys character on semantics over what constitutes an OS, to not responding to a PM (in 10 hours?) to questioning even my character on these things. To put that to bed, I don't make $$ on the magic boxes. Every 10 or so they send me a free one, and I invariably give it to a good friend or family member. As for the rest..

I have tried the fire sticks, and other boxes out there. They are cheaper and they work for awhile.. Then you gotta start screwing with them to get them to work again. That said I don't want to learn how to update things, or become some Kodi Ninja going into settings menus every five seconds to update / fix / download etc.. I just want to watch TV shows and Movies and that's it. Paying the extra $$ is worth it to me to not have to fuck with these things. I get that Waffles and other guys will never understand that.. but to me 200-300 bucks for a box that works, is worth a lot more than 75 bucks for a firestick that I have to have USMC2010 come over every couple of months for hours to try and make work again.

To date out of all the things I have tried the Magic Boxes I got from Dave have been the most reliable boxes. They definitely aren't the cheapest, but I can have MMA Fight parties at my house and not be sweating bullets if it's gonna work or not. It's worked EVERY time.

I came home from Lake Alamo to quite a few PM's asking about the Bullet (Dave's latest Box). I'm going to close this thread and start another one with basically what it is. To be absolutely blunt, I don't give a shit if anyone buys them or not. If it works for you than great. If something else works for you than great. Why the hostility in this thread, I dunno.. but people aren't going to act like that on here.
