My brother has a machine shop and we were hanging out there last weekend after we finished a project we were working on. We were trying to think of ideas of stuff we could make for my boat. So we are going to make a slide anchor, some cup holders and some handles. We could really think of to many other things, So my questions to you guys is do you have any ideas of what we could make, stuff that you have thought was always nice to have around the boat or was totally worthless but just fun to have? So if you have any suggestions they would be greatly appreciated. I have a 21' 91 Ultra with an open bow, 454. I will try to post pics of anything we finish. Thanks in advance.

There is a million things you can machine, and maybe put your own personal touch on it.. Everything from wash down systems, grab handles, vents, etc.. I like the billet foot braces for the driver / passenger etc..

To get some ideas though take a look at

www.danamarineproducts.com and click products and then billet.

At the end of the day though your going to end up spending a ton of $$$ even with the hook up, it's usually cheaper to buy the stuff.

Exactly, the only reason guys like us, prime, brummett, etc. machine our own parts is so that no one else has one that is the same. You will end up spending more time and money that it is to buy the parts, your justification has to be that it's a one off & superior piece.

Parts plus places to put them. Like an organizer you have for your silverware. You want a drawer or space for everything you need. Spare gas can, spare battery/booster, spare prop, tools, fresh water.

Thanks for all the suggestions. Most of the material we will use is going to be left overs from jobs and possibly some scrap as well. we will see what we can come up with. This is all his idea anyone so i will put the material on his company and make him pay for it in the end if we need anything.:beer

thanks, I will post some pictures.
