First time here, came in yesterday, as we were approaching the airport to land I noticed it was very hazy out, kind of like a beach haze....when I got outside the airport to catch a Uber, I realized it was dust not haze....lol is it always this dusty and windy here? They are saying 80mph gusts today....I am here for just until this afternoon then driving to Albuquerque, should be a fun 5 hour drive in this wind...smh

I head out there annually, family lives south by the caprock. Notice no hills, no mountains… just flatlands with cotton in Lubbock. So yeah, tend to get breezy there.

Funny you say this. I would visit family in TX and as a kid and would ask what the smell was (sulfur). Cousin said, “ MONEY”. Ha ha. We’re in the drilling business!!!
