Sure, but the shipping charges are inversely proportional to the discount.:p

Problem is that he is way over on his price of $1.75. Almost double what they cost new so no wonder he is getting low balled. See similar all the time a little research before listing.

I just reply appreciate the offer or ignore.

Yeah. Those usually sell for $1000 all day long. I used to be a part owner of a Polaris dealership. It's also still hot, so your definitely gonna get lowballed.

I tell them I have to ask my wife if it's ok to sell it to them. Haha.

I've seen a meme about a bicycle sale.

Asked: "What's the lowest you will go?"
Response : "2mph since any slower and you will fall down"

I sold a lowered square body. Tons of pictures in the add. I was very upfront with any issues. Guy asks questions about it bla bla bla. Says dont sell it he has cash in hand and on his way. I told him not a dime less than $xxxxxxx. He said he wanted it and had the cash. Ok. Come on over.

Gets to my house with 2 friends. Right away says he has no money but brought a friend that was interested. His 2 buddy's spent 15 min telling me this wasnt right & that wasnt right. They wanted to convert it back to bone stock. Moldings & all. They told me how the paint wasnt even a stock color & the rims weren't factory! I kept my mouth shut and laughed inside, I knew what was coming. They offered me half of what i was asking while telling me id be lucky to get a penny more.
I said let me think about it for a minute and pulled it back in the garage & shut the door behind me, and went in the house. I heard them leave about 5 min later :D

Pretty much the same thing when I sold a pair of snowmobiles with trailer and gear. Older sleds but very well maintained with low hours. I wrote the ad saying I did not need the money, just didn't use them anymore. Also stated I already know what little things were wrong with them, don't come on my property thinking I would be willing to discuss the condition, bring cash and take them.

First guy shows up and seemed OK at first, then he started doing the look at this spot here....I stood there and stared at him for probably what seemed like an eternity "Clint Eastwood" style.

After a minute I said, did you read the ad?....he replied yes....I said did you read the part about bring cash and take them , I'm not willing to barter...Yes, but.

I told him to get the Fuck off my property.

Truth be told I just didn't like the guy and I'm pretty easygoing with folks, next guy showed up and was towing them away in less than a half hour.

With dicks like that, I always walk out to thier car as they jabber and take a pic of it with lic plate, they ask ,”wtf”, and I always say, just in case. Realbuyers have no issue.

I have started meeting people at places other than my home for this kind of stuff. Too many wackos out there and I want to be able to cut the conversation off and not fear any retaliation. I suppose they could figure out where I lived if they really wanted to but it makes me feel a little better. When I do meet at home, I keep the garage door and house doors shut.

What a world we live in....

We do the same and always make sure you don't go alone. Our sheriff department has a parking spot at the station for such transactions. Although we have not used it.

I did the same thing while selling parts off of my JKRU, tons of F**k Tards texting and calling all hours of the night/morning.
So I meet a guy off the 91/IMP Hwy Sat am in a Bank Parking lot when 5+ Cop Cars come blazing in and exiting vehicles with guns drawn
The PD blocks the exits and sets up a perimeter where me/buyer are included and questioned of our business here. I explain what were doing and we were informed that there was an attempted robbery suspect running around.
Sweet :)

I had a trailer for sale for $20,000, they send the first text to me asking if I’ll take 13k, 15k, whatever and I say “Yes, that will be a sufficient deposit for me to take the trailer off the market and hold it for you.”

I had 2 sets of golf clubs for sale. Both in good shape with bags and head covers. No putters or wedges included outside of a pitching wedge.

Lady wants a set for here son but says it's missing a putter so is not a full set. I explained there were 1-3-5 woods and 3 through 9 irons plus PW. A putter is a personal deal and something I'd suggest she buy at a proshop. She couldn't grasp that and wanted a putter or a discount equal to the value of a putter. I explained, putters can cost varying amounts and this set was not advertised to have one in the first place. Take it or leave it......She huffed out. an hour later she called back because her husband was pissed at the good price I offered. Told her sorry, just sold the set to another guy.....Which I id do a couple days later.

Guy calls on the other set and is willing to buy them at asking price if I give him a 90 day guarantee they can be returned if he doesn't better his game with them......Bnag goes the phone:D

Idiots are among us.......

Lol, some people.

The following is no joke. Happened earlier today while at work. Mind you, I listed my pool table that was in great condition for a more than reasonable price which sold within an hour.

I get a text and it states "would you take $150 for the pool table and I can get it asap". I almost engaged with them, but decided to ignore it.
