Dude this raftup deal is the biggest party in boating that I have ever witnessed.. this is fucking insane and we went from bringing media crew next year to looking for houses here.. this is more fun than you can shake a stick at!

The boating at LOTO is not year round like Havasu though.

Our place is across the main channel from Camden where your staying Dave. This is a special week to be sure, but every weekend you do see big $$ cats and vee's running around along with all the huge cruisers. Very nice and interesting to hear your review of events, after 30 years of being on the lake we kind of take it for granted I guess.

Poker run getting ready to start in front of the house.

Built the house in 1987 for $200K, 210ft shoreline, 4 bed, 4 bath, it's worth about $500 -$600K now I'm assuming that's cheap compared prices out west.

That's pretty bas ass to name your boat late fees. I assume that the late fees alone his comapany collects pays for it. That's baller.

I actually thought he was a roofer.
Nevermind I saw the one you were talking abiut

And with the X2, I'm thinking this isn't his only boat.

Dave, what's the "drama" level like there? After moving to Nashville and experiencing life here, I'd venture to guess that the level of dumb-shitedness is significantly less in LOTO.

Drama has been zero that I have seen.. not saying it doesn't happen because fuck everyone of these bars has monster security.. I haven't seen it though. I would have seen several fights by now if I was at home.

At dog days wasted in the pool right now.

Not a lot of Cats running like previous years. A lot of V hulls and toons throwing down good numbers. My favorite was the 52 MTI (wake effects pleasure boat) that ran late in the day.

The 368 Skater from Havasu popped one of his blowers off, and almost lost it into the water at the start of his run today. :eek

We are on our way to Vegas and then home tomorrow.. I'll do a write up on the adventure, some of the cool and bizarre shit along the way, and at least some kind of info if you want to go to LOTO.

How big are the wakes from the cruisers? Bigger than roll-bar boats? Do people hate th cruisers as much as the roll-bar boats?

from my own experience on the cali delta when a big cruiser is on full tilt it trumps a wakeboard boat wake by far and the flat wake after is a bumpy ride to a lot of porposing. iv seen a wakeboard boat pull air off of a cruiser wake and im sure he didn't mean to do it but was a sight to see

Cruiser wakes are ridiculous! Lake Lanier this year was full of them, you get a couple all mixed up and it gets scary even in 40'+ boats. People always complain about powerboats and their huge wakes eroding shorelines...BS it's the cruisers!

Thanks for posting up pictures for us who're miles and miles away.:thumbsup. Should have taken the offer by former Spectraowners member to visit him in Camden a while back. He has house on the water with lift for his 20 spectra v-drive. Lost contact with him, his handle was 'chickenlips'. Wonder if he's still around?

Next level shit.. twin stern drives with the joystick. I believe it has 520's but don't quote me on it View attachment 582960

View attachment 582961

That what I'd like to buy when I grow up.. either that or the deep impact 33. Or statement CC

This is Jeremy Riggs boat 41GTR out of Grove Oklahoma super nice family. One bad azz boat. I had the honor of driving it and it is amazing.

The features it has onboard are incredible....GPS Skyhook, Axius's boat, auto pilot, pod drives.

A very versatile boat and what makes it so attractive is the huge swim step on the back. On outboard boats you do not have that area open.

KAP

P.S. That Schiada with the HP700,s is also a bad azz boat.

For sure. Just on one 300 unit apartment complex, figure 30% pay late. At $50 a pop, that's $1,500 a month in late fees. Imagine owning several of these things? You could live off late fees alone.:)

Pod drives? Pretty sure this one has bravos? I saw it on the trailer with them facing away from each other though (joystick)

The struggle is real..

It is for me with those damn things.. lol. When it's 12 oz cans I'm more trained than Maywesther.. with those 16 oz's I'm like Mcgregor at the end of the 10th.. that extra four sneaks up on you and the problem gets compounded throughout the night.. one minute your fine and the next minute your wobbly and yapping about shit you'd normally yap about.. lol.

I'm the sa me way...cans are predictable...the 16s go down way too fast...all of a sudden the curtain comes down and it's like WTF just happened.

Not sure how you guys missed our dock space presence at the Camden, but I see them in the background of your other Skater and Outerlimits pictures. DCB was one of the title sponsors and we had ten boats on display here at SuperCat Fest. More than Skater, MTI or Mystic? We?d like to think that we (DCB) are representing all of the west coast boaters in regards to the goliath?s that are prevalent out there at Lake of the Ozarks, so here?s a few pictures for everyone to enjoy?

In regards to the actual LOTO Shootout, we had thirteen passes, with four Class winners. We are trying to track down the images from the course, and will update on our Facebook page.

Yeah the guy in the photo is Richard who is Mikes buddy. We're going to Powell next month with the M41 because he's got a big ass houseboat on Powell.

I think this is a 50 or a 52. This is the Big Brotther to Adam's boat and was just finished recently.

IMG_3327.jpg

This was also Stacy's favorite boat out of all of LOTO. She was talking about it on the docks and everytime we saw it around. Told me to make some more dough so we could add one as a third or fourth boat.
