CNBC which is usually a fairly finance focused show has playing out “What if worst case“ scenarios the past few days. Irresponsible bastards. “ What if the US shut down 100% of everything for 2 weeks” .....then they go on to talk about what it would look like in that scenario. WTF?

These are some batty times.

SXSW was cancelled because the the biggest exhibitors pulled out. These companies are not having their employees travel if its not a must. The company I work for has been working on stuff for months and pulled out and is losing a bunch of $$ that they spend on non refundable reservations and stuff. I think its the same with Coachella / Stagecoach the event promotion companies and art are probably worried about liability if they make their staff travel and they contract the virus.

I have heard more people say they are going this year (this far ahead of the event) than anytime ever before? I'm at a total loss.. I don't know if it's going to be the biggest one ever, or a ghost town..

It sucks because we have to spend 30+K our hard costs before the event.. If people don't show it isn't like we get that $$ back. LOL

I would just keep close with Christina and keep tabs on entries for other vendors and boat count entries. Could be a good yardstick.

DS will be outside, in the sun, and warm. Viruses don't like that from what I hear.
