I have an existing patio cover that I would like to mirror on the opposite side of my patio for symmetry. Not in the budget to go fancy Alumawood or the like. Not trying to keep up with anyone aesthetically here, just need functional and I don't mind the look of the plain jane steel stuff. Think Sea-Ray of patio covers here. No hanging fans, no ceiling speakers, just something to keep the sun and weather off my shit.
The existing awning structure in place is briliantly simple and is built of the exact materials depicted here at this site:
These cats are out of San Antonio, TX though, I'd rather not pay the freight, there's gotta be someone selling this stuff in CA. Anyone recognize the look and can recommend where to buy? Previous owners said the guy that put this up 8-10 years ago has since passed away.
Because I know many won't click a link, here are the graphics from the website.
There is a facia gutter secured to my facia board. This supports the roof end of the panels.
The roof panels are the W-shape:
The side facia pieces look similar, but not identical to the gutter facia piece:
The four sides of the facia framing are connected with simple corner outside connectors identical to this:
And the far end of the roof panels are supported with an I-beam full width that is identical to this one on the right with the little return legs on the ends of the flanges:
Thanks for any input. I've been searching the web for a few days and have not found any local source for these exact materials.
