I am looking to get a year around RV spot at Hidden Shores. I am on the waiting list but it seems like it might take awhile. Anyone know of someome who is looking to sell their trailer and transfer their spot? Not looking for a house, just a trailer. Thanks

I know of a couple people looking to get rid of their houses if you change your mind, but don't know of anyone looking to get out of a trailer spot... Sorry

Look us up if you do get one!

I just remembered that the park is selling a huge 5th wheel toy hauler that is sitting on space D136. I don't know what the cost of the 5th wheel is, and I am assuming that whoever buys it would be allowed to remain on the spot. The spot is bitchen with a great view of the water.

Call the office and check it out.

Just an update on my comments above. The 5th wheel is no longer on the spot mentioned. They've moved it off, and are grading the spot for what appears will be another park model. I'm have not seen the 5th wheel anywhere in the park, so I don't think they moved it to another spot.

Thanks everyone for the info. I am still waiting to hear something from the office. Please let me know if you hear of anyone wanting to sell.

I would love a house but they are a little out of my price range.

I saw one for sale on Craigslist (San Diego or Yuma) under RV's. It was a 5th wheel with awning steup.

Dude, Welcome...... Too bad, we just sold out electric golf cart 2 weeks ago.

We're heading out this afternoon for the weekend, so if you wander up to the A section, stop by A60 and say hi and have a drink.

P.S. Stay away from Zack (Paradise), he'll keep you up all night!

Whatever you do, stay away from those people up at fishers... Damn troublemakers ;)

Hopefully we'll be able to hang out with you guys some more this year... I've known of you guys and your boats for a couple years now and besides the one jeep trip (where I was so hung over I didn't even want to move) we've never seen you on the water. WTF are the odds of that? LOL

I hear that the dirt people make plenty of ruckus after 10pm. No one should be subject to that... LOL

Hope you guys are doing well, how's momma and the baby?

We need to do a lower river meet and greet with all the peeps from the boards one weekend. We did it a few years back and had like 25 people show up on the sandbar and bbq and hang out, it was a good time.

We're doing great! Zoey is getting bigger by the day, I know everyone says it, but it's crazy how fast she's changing... lol

I was telling John, we haven't even made any trips yet this year we've been so busy. Between Zoey, work, moving blahh blahh blahh it's been crazy... I'm ready to sit in the water with beer :)

A meet and greet sounds like a lot of fun, set it up :thumbsup

Yeah I saw your cart was for sale. I was out there last weekend and tried to look into it but then I saw it was sold. If you know of anyone else that has one for sale, let me know. I am friends with the Pittmans which are in spot B113 (i think). That is up near you. Should be out there again in 2 weeks.

B113 is 2 down from the end. I think I know those peeps, but not by their last name. We were having tacos with them a few weeks back at the farm place on 95.

I have a bud down in the C section who has his park model on the market who might be interested in selling his golf cart (an electric ez go). I'll check with him to see and let you know.

P.S. was that you that left a VM on my answering machine on Monday?

My mom lives in the foothills of Yuma and we had a jetboat and went to hidden shores one time and loved it!! But didn't really get to know the river!! Would I be able to take my 24 foot IO up river???? What's the depth for most of it!! I remember staying to the right of the river!! Any info would be great!! Would love to take my mom on the river down there and meet some of you!!

Yeah, you'd be fine, just try and follow someone upriver. There are plenty of boats bigger than 24, but they usually also know the stretch of river :)

Closer to the tulies is usually the deepest, but not necessarily always on the right. Usually it's deep on the outside of a turn... Best bet is get some polarized glasses and follow someone in a bigger boat. :D

If you're out at HS and I'm out there you would always be more than welcome to follow us, I'm sure the same would go for Scouter (and BMac, UltraBabe etc)... The stretch from HS to Fishers/Martinez is usually pretty easy.

Matt (I'm assuming that's what your name is from your screen name), I checked with my buddy (Dave), and his cart is for sale for $800. He thinks it's a 98, but he says it needs new batteries. Trojans are gonna cost you between $800 and $900 in Yuma. I've heard that Sams Club has some 6 volts that will set you back $500 for 6 new 6 volts. Let me know if you're interested and I'll put you in touch with Dave.

As far as going up river, let me know. Like Paradise said, any of us will be willing to lead you up river and teach you the tracks to take. Us Lower river folk are all about comraderie and having fun. Unfortunately, the next weekend you'll be here, we won't (we've only missed 1 weekend this whole year, and that weekend will be our 2nd).

Look forward to meeting you, and let me know if you're interested in the EZ go.......

Yes I am sure that was them at the taco stand. We always eat there, great lunch.

Yes I am interested in the EZ GO, please send me his contact info. I was the one that left the voicemail. I walked past your place last weekend and didn't see it sitting there so I figured it was sold but thought I would check anyways.

The spot I got came with an EZ GO gas cart but I would prefer an electric so I can use it all night.

P.S. I like your boat. I got a 96 Cheetah semi tunnel w/ a 200 Merc. Similar style to yours.

Whoops, I addressed that last post to the wrong person...... Might have been some alcohol involved.

I will PM you the contact info on the golf cart.

Shoot me some info at [email protected] please. Looks like we are going back to HS again soon. If anyone else is selling, we are looking for a nice 5th wheel on a good spot down by the beach. Thanks.

Also in the market for a cart.

Since you guys are familiar with Hidden Shores do you mind helping me out with some info? What's the best entry level setup? I was thinking of buying a travel trailer and getting a space for just the summer. Does it work like that? or do you have to leave your setup year around because the spaces are hard to come by? Or just buy someones setup as is. What is the space rent down there?

They do rent spaces for just 6 months, but I believe there may be a waiting list. Best thing to do is to contact the office and ask them. As far as prices, I think they are listed on the website.
