My buddy was talking about selling his conquest this summer. Let me see if he’s still interested.

Was in the same position last spring.
Decided to keep what I had, since I could not find anything I wanted that was priced reasonable.

My problem is I could sell and be boatless, but my kid would kill me. She calls the boat ‘her boat’ and loves going to Havasu more now with the Islander summer setup, then when we rented houses with pools. Something to do with kids she can play with

Always have liked the Howard's you mentioned...they ride well and are heavy built.

IDK the market on any of what you are looking at, back in 2020 when we bought our boat, the 100k mark didn't go as far as it used to by any means and led to us just doing a new boat.

I've seen your boat, I think we chatted briefly at steamboat last year...its a sweet setup.

Yup, same. Can't be boatless, my youngest would be heartbroken. He loves boating more than any of them.

Yeah it is definitely sweet and I love it, just limited as to where we can go on Havasu. I pretty much only run the river now since we get kinda tossed around on the open lake.

Not a horrible program as the river is freaking awesome, just want something that handles the chop a little better.

Im biased, but there is a nice used x-flight for sale at advantage for around $120k.

If it didn't have that goofy yellow blob thing in it I would have already bought it

Damn that's really nice man. Did you buy this from the shop up in Washington? This is Nordic built, right
Thanks we did. Yeah Nordic build. Added a swing away tongue and a travel cover. Only use it when the kids come to Havasu.

That boat is fuckin awesome. I could get past the yellow.

Guessing the outboard wasn’t all it was meant to be?

No man, the outboard is awesome. Boat is super sick and gets a ridiculous amount of attention, but works best on the river. I can make money on it and try new things. Since we boat Havasu, having a big V is definitely a better program to be able to run all over the lake and not get tossed around.

I am not dumping it unless the replacement is awesome. Not going to settle for something that I am just ok with. Was offered $105k for my boat and turned it down because I can't find something I want.

The yellow 27 Lavey isn't it.

You maken a profit on your boat and gettin a boat you can get past with money in the bank seems like a no brainer. You won’t be boatless this season. And next off season you have the money to fix it? Seems like a slam dunk to me!
Bigger better boat. With a shit ton of cash to make it what you want… what ever no my boat or my situation. You could end up gettin a boat that “is the one for 105k” and have to replace the drive or motor and not have anything?

Yeah I get it, just not looking to get out of my boat to only settle on something I am not stoked on. I have seen everything out there and none of that gets me excited. The 255 in this thread is close to what I am looking for.

if you buy the lavey. You get rid of the yellow. Have money for sounds so when @wet hull shows up to 3 dunes you will drown him out? Haha jk. Your boat your business. Hope you don’t blow your load on the 255 and end up with a big bill. Not saying the owner is lying. But it is motors and gears you never know what will happen.

Beautiful boat but want stock merc power. That Brummet TT is awesome, but rebuild cost and the wait time are not something I am interested in. This boat has been for sale a few times over the years.

I am kind of in the same situation.. I am getting some offers on my toon because you Jist can’t find them..

I am thinking I’d be ok with a 300 Hallett or?
So, you've done with the toon and back in the real boat buying?🤔 300 Hallett is the ultimate and practical boat, I can see why you looking at those.👍

I dont know shit about fuk regarding the engine set up this has, but have a question. Could a person buy this boat and trade this engine for a brand new Merc racing mill installed even up?

Does @RiverDiva know you are thinking about selling her boat :)
I think you need a his (300 Hallett), hers (toon) and then a kids (some sort of ski boat) in your garage :)

It was 115k when you bought it. They will build one now same setup for 115k. 125k with a 520.
Our 2017 255 which was one of the last out of California was $115,000 with a 540. I knew the price jumped when Nordic bought it.
