Lk Powell gives up jet bote after 30 years

This bote used to be 90’ under water 30 years ago. 2 YouTube channels (Fab Rats & Merlin’s old school garage) have retrieved it from the desert and are resurrecting it. Pretty cool deal - they actually found the original owner through the sheriff’s dept. and they’re still around. This is an on-going series, but spoiler alert, they got the engine running. I find the vids a bit long-winded (ff is your friend) but worth a look.

Very cool story cool part of it is it's only about 2 and a 1/2 miles away from my house where they're doing all that work on it

Merlin tried to sign up on here this summer, not sure if he ever got in. He is the guy with the Cummins Diesel jet boat.

I followed along with this project on YouTube if anyone cares to check it out further. Giving it a little bump. They got the boat running and reunited it with the owners and got to hear the actual story of what happened that day it sank.
I have no idea who the Fab Rats crew or Merlin and the rest are personally, but it's amazing to see there are still kind hearted people out there that have the ability to do something like this for a total stranger. Major kuddos to everyone involved in this project.
