… That happened to me a couple of times up at Lake Oroville… I didn’t worry about them too much… The brown bears were my main concern😳

We have mountain lions up at our cabin in Flagstaff. We’ve caught them a couple times in 20 years on game camera during the off season, looking for rabbits.

I've seen a few pics of them in Havasu and with the open area behind me, my mind always seems to go there when I'm outback late at night.

My Aunt and Uncle had one in their backyard in Tustin a few years ago. That caused quite a commotion. Had all the TV news vans show up.

I just read an article that the state of California did a survey of the mountain lion population. They estimate there are about 4500 lions in Cali. The last survey was about 40 years ago and then the estimate was 4500 to 6000.... Seems the populations are good, but some areas are being considered land locked because of humans encroaching to the areas they live creating some inbreeding that could pose harm to the overall populations in certain areas... Here kitty kitty....

We have them and bears in the Haulapai Mountains near Kingman, but we have bobcats, foxes, skunks and other critters on our cameras all the time at the house in the foothills... Wildlife is good to see.
