Still the best looking flatbottom ever tooled up. Fuck that, the best looking hull ever tooled up.

These pictures don't do it Justice . You should see the rigging . Eddie Sr was a good friend of Lou Brummett , and was rigging Mandella's since the mid 60's here in Tucson . My father had a 69 Short deck that I bought back and is being restored Eddie Jr has restored probably at least a dozen Mandella's . Most being ones his dad originally rigged . My old boat in my avatar being his first that he started when he was 16 .

It looked like just a basic big block mercruiser. Maybe a 330? There were mods. But stock exhaust etc. hull was gutted then deck props out of ply etc.
I didn’t think to look at the X dimensions
I wish I would have taken pics.
Makes me think.
All in, he was out there running the enduro.

Was it the same dude running the last year or two? I think I posted some video from last year.

Same boat. Older guy and his buddy out of meadview. I wanted to ask a couple questions but I try to stay out of the way on race days.
